Clean comfortable and homely. Staff willing to help in any way. Very attentive manager with a focus on every area of hotel service. Very hands-on and capable getting an adaptor so Aussies could use their appliances. Good and cheap food outlets nearby. Awesome beach with mountains framing the seascape. Need to be careful of crime as you do anywhere. Pool...

This hotel is in a relatively quiet street with good cafes round about. From the front of the hotel, you can see the Copacabana beach which is about 400 yards away. The nearest metro station is Cantagalo and about the same distance the other way. The hotel was very comfortable and breakfast was included in the room price. I found...

This hotel is a short walk from Copacaban beach, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Has all amenities youd expect from city hotel. Staff very friendly/helpful. A long walk to centre but needed taxis to get to other attractions.

This quaint little hotel was a bright little gem in an otherwise very disappointing city. The front desk staff were very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately we were Americans who enjoy a hearty American breakfast and the offering here was meager at best. All in all it was an above average experience. We had the bad luck of arriving in...

Had an excellent stay at this hotel! Room was amazingly great size with high ceilings! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Convenient location right in the middle of Copacabana! Not a far walk to Ipanema! Excellent restaurant options around! Stayed 5 days here. The only downfall, was that the whirlpool was not working well, however it is no biggie.

We stayed here for 4 nights during the Olympics and the hotel met all our needs. The location is fantastic...near the beach, plenty of restaurants within an easy walk or short taxi ride, taxi or subway to many major tourist attractions, and close to the subway station. Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
