Stayed there 2 nights. The hotel is ok, 1 quarter from the Ipanema each. The room was ok although a bit old, wich is the classic patern for Rio. Small but good breakfast buffet. Nice staff. The only problem we had was the noise of the water pipes at night....each time someone in an other room close to yours goes...

Promenade Visconte is a pleasant city hotel. The staff were mostly helpful, and the rooms clean and spacious. The location is a pleasant street close to many bars and restaurants, and the beach is only a block away. Rio does suffer from heavy traffic, and we could hear this from around dawn, but this goes with the location, and will...

Thank you for your review. We from Promenade are very pleased that you had enjoyed your time at Promenade Visconti. It is very helpful when our guests make this kind of comments. About the traffic in Rio, it is a problem of almost every big city in Brazil, but we hope it will change. About the reception phones and the...

Stayed here for a week toward the end of our honeymoon and thought it was a very good hotel for the price. Location is A+ as Ipanema beach is just a block away and there are a ton of great restaurants. It's relatively low rise (7 floors) so no views and a bit of noise from the bars around the...

Not to sugar coat anything, but we have nothing bad to say about our stay at the Promenade Visconti. My husband, (who is Brazilian) and I came to Rio to celebrate our honeymoon. He found this hotel on Orbitz (which gave us a better rate) and from the pictures you can never tell what you are going to get. It...

Well located! Very clean but very expensive. This hotel is not so luxuriuous for the price you pay. The breakfast offered (which is included in your rate room) is very very poor. There are some much better hotels nearby. The swimming pool is small!Very small.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over new years 2009/2010. I was in a European Lux Suite and the room exceeded all expectations. There was a small lounge room, dining table and a balcony overlooking the street. The staff went out of their way to help me and even allowed me a super late checkout of 8pm at...

This hotel is one block from the beach in Ipanema, and is very secure. Staff were all really polite and nice. The included breakfast was terrific. The room was good--not a great view, but quiet since it was at the side of the hotel. No complaints about the room itself, nice bathroom, good safe, comfortable bed, good A/C. Not hugely...

The hotel is in a convenient location to explore Ipanema and the main tourist areas within Rio. A bit of a distance from Lapa and that side of town, but plenty of local buses available from the surrounding roads. Overall the room was large and in good clean condition, modern decor and a good size bathroom. The hotel has a...
