My stay was Ok, but partition are too thin and Brazilians play their music very loud. Some units are better than others. Location is great, restaurants, night live and transport. Staff is co-operative but their level of English deserves improvement.
I recently stayed at the Claridge and loved it. We stayed at a pricey Winsdor hotel in Copacabana and the experience at the Claridge was hands down much better. The neighborhood is amazing - great restaurants everywhere and a nice grocery store in the ground...More
The Claridge is actually very well located, in the heart of Leblon (best neighborhood in Rio) but rooms are really bad.

In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a
pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
