One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
This hotel is located a little after the entrance to Teresópolis (Rio – Tere) in a region with more contact with nature. Despite being further away, there is every convenience and comfort for you to stay at the hotel – the rooms are excellent (everything is new, fragrant and well designed), swimming pool, waterfall, gym and restaurant, in addition to the special service from the owners.
The hotel was built on an old farm, the property is large, so the environment is very welcoming and designed for you to disconnect from the city and connect with nature and tranquility.

I don't even have words to describe this boutique hotel and I consider myself a very demanding person, from cleanliness to service. The staff are chosen with great care because they make your stay a truly unique experience, they are so attentive, loving and helpful. The meals at this hotel are surreally wonderful, I have never stayed in any hotel with the gastronomic quality that this one offers, dishes prepared by the renowned Chef Paulo Araújo, from breakfast until dinner. The rooms are impeccable, very clean and fragrant, as well as being large and comfortable with a delicious bathtub. Top quality bed and bath linen. Really off the charts!

Amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, super new and with excellent leisure facilities. We stayed in Eucalipto I, super spacious, bedroom separated from the living room, huge bathtub, beautiful view, great shower and excellent amenities. We also requested a crib and bathtub for our baby (great). Eucalipto I is very far from the headquarters and other leisure areas, but transportation is done by golf cart and every time we requested it, it arrived quickly. Very good restaurant with room service, perfect for our needs. The chicken massala and the perfect egg stand out, but everything we tried was delicious. The breakfast is very complete too. And the biggest difference, without a doubt, is the staff, all of whom are extremely kind and helpful! Rayssa, Karina, Elanio, Leonardo, Vitor, Rosana and the owners José Antonio and Beto. We will definitely be back! The restaurant's menu deserves to be expanded so we have more delicacies to try!

We spent the weekend at the hotel, to rest as a couple and with our dog. Initially we looked for pet friendly hotels and realized that there are few good hotels, Embauba being the newest and with the fewest reviews, but very highly recommended.
We took a risk and discovered this gem!
Everything in the hotel is very new and very well maintained, the room is impeccable (Bali)! Everything is clean, huge bed, swing with a view, balcony with chairs to enjoy the landscape, minibar, wine cellar and bathtub in the room make the final charm.
Walking around the hotel is super pleasant and, when tired, we can call the staff with golf carts to take us to one of the pools, open-air cinema or restaurant.
The food is worthy of praise and everything was very tasty, a complete breakfast, lunch with the same menu as dinner and we left without trying all the dishes, unfortunately.
The staff is very friendly, extra praise for Claudia, Manuela, Karina and Elanio, very helpful, polite and they even took our dog for a walk one day as she was agitated while we were having dinner! They are all excellent!
We will definitely come back!

Enchanting place!
The hotel has a lush nature! The property is located in the middle of the Atlantic Forest! Super comfortable and clean facilities! The place is exceptional! Impeccable service with a fantastic team, highlighting Claudia, Renata, Cosme, Elano, Raian…and the others whose names I don't know…lol
Everyone was very kind and polite!
Another highlight is the food prepared by chef Paulo!
From Gods!!! A Wizard in the kitchen!
I only have four suggestions to make to make the hotel even more exceptional!
The contemporary chalet in which we stayed deserves a hot tub or mini pool so we can enjoy all the privacy it offers! And the wooden sofas on the balcony could have a futon to make them more comfortable!
The trees in front of the chalet could be pruned a little (not removed! Just pruned!) so that we can have a clear view of the sunset, which is stunning!
And the last suggestion is that buckets of ice can be used to store beers on the pool tables! Beer bottles are not allowed in the pool area... understandable at the edges... but meaningless if they can be placed in ice buckets on the tables...
Furthermore, no retouching! Amazing place! We will definitely be back!

Just wonderful!
Every detail, everything in the hotel was designed to give you comfort, peace and a relaxing and pleasant stay!
Very polite and helpful staff, the owners don't even mention it! Just a nice touch! When you talk to them, you realize why that place is so incredible, because every detail was thought of and made with a lot of care, love and dedication, for sure!
One of the best hotels we've ever been to, for sure!
I would say that every couple DESERVES a stay at Embauba! The restaurant is a separate episode too! Excellent, everything delicious, don't forget to try the creamy eggs and the risotto!
I want to go back soon!

+1
I would like to share the wonderful experience we had at this hotel....it was an incredible weekend, full of unforgettable moments provided by the caring team and owners. Starting with the beauty of the property, going through the quality of the facilities and ending with the team's impeccable treatment of guests...all in perfect harmony with the hotel's proposal. At every moment we were surprised with something different to do and with the team always willing to help us. The Contemporary suite is a delight for those looking for exclusivity and peace. We also had the privilege of watching one of the most beautiful sunrises at the Três Picos viewpoint....it was fantastic!!! Also noteworthy is the open-air cinema prepared with so much care and the delights of the kitchen led by chef Paulo Araujo and his team and the waiters who are always very attentive and willing to take our requests. All in all, a surprising and impeccable experience.

We already knew the restaurant, and now we enjoy a bit of the hotel. The stay was short, just one night to celebrate my wife's birthday. Impeccable ⁇ defines the experience, from the cordiality and professionalism of Raissa at the Reservation, made through whatsapp, the reception with a smile, and a glass of sparkling on arrival, sensational. At dinner offered a wonderful birthday cake! The Chalet Eucalyptus is simply sensational! The next day a wonderful breakfast and watered with a lot of courtesy and kindness of the staff, especially Renata, always attentive to the details, not measuring efforts to please. To close with gold key, a delicious lunch. We were very happy and grateful for your attention and dedication to the details. As we are living in Teresópolis we will often come back to enjoy the restaurant and the place, and on special dates will ⁇ be our local accommodation option.

The hotel proposes to be a luxurious accommodation, but the service is very below that. the price is refined, but the hotel offers us one of the worst services I have ever seen.
to begin with, while the hotel is quite isolated from any civilization, so it practically obliges you to do all the meals in the hotel, even the dinner, which is not included in the daily. the working hours of the kitchen are inconvenient, only 2 hs of coffee in the morning and 3 hs of lunch, being that the breakfast hours are close to lunch (i.e. we have to eat without hunger, not to "miss out" the lunch, already included in the daily). besides, and most of all, the restaurant is horrible. service extremely long, each dish coming at a different time (e.g., at 6 people's tables, at no time we sat at a breakfast in the hotel, 6 people made their meal together), and the dishes coming cold, when they should come warm.
there are parts of the hotel located in remote areas (such as the gym, the air-conditioned pool, the jacuzzi, the sauna, the spa, the rooms...), and the hotel's promise is that there are enough cars (of those of golf) owned by the hotel to take us from the headquarters to these other areas. however, the cars take time to arrive, and are not even close to meeting demand. on the day of our departure, for example, we had to take our bags on the long way between the room and the headquarters because the golf cars didn't arrive.
the facilities also leave to be desired. for example, in the rooms, the curtains let the sunlight pass, and as a result we woke up at 7:30 in the morning. the air-conditioned pool was out of operation, and there were works on much of the lawn next to the headquarters and the pool.
After all, I'm sure neither I nor my family will ever return to this hotel again.
