Very impressed with how squeaky clean the rooms were, way beyond your usual Hilton or Marriott… we stayed here as a family of four visiting the region, kids ages 9 and 11 delighted with the hotels attractions and amenities. Great breakfast and the lack of other meals in the hotel are well supplanted by nearby options.

Unfortunatelly we had a terrible experience. The hotel is old and Dirty. There is no restaurant service at the swimming pool. In a sunny day you cannot order beverages or snacks even tough they have a restaurant. The employees are kind but all places at the hotel were old and dirty. I pre-reserved the gym place which was dirty with big ants and cockroaches. We had to upgrade our room from 2 persons to 2 persons and 1 child. So we added a child and we were charged for more than the cost of another adult. Room for 2 adults was 800 and room for 2 adults and one kid costed 1400 reais. The air conditioner had a bad smell, there were no batteries at the TV remote control and the fridge was off. Location although was ok. I don´t recommend and we won´t come back..

We got to spend two nights at Tere Parque. As soon as we checked in, I commented on the macaws. We were in the jungle after all. They have a mid-size aviary with four arotas. the second day a worker was there and let us in so we got to feed them. Rooms are very nice. Hot water. Great wifi. It was a lovely experience with a rustic feel and jungle trails right outside the room. pretty wonderful.

The place is nice, clean and welcoming. Various ammenities for kids, pool and other things for adults. Good breakfast offered Would recommend for families on weekend or more and travelers who come for hiking in the region.

Overall the place is great. My room is spacious, king size bed and good en suite (I reserved the superior one). Everything looks brand new. Great decor/taste. Highlights: Great staff, very helpful. Room - ours was the 54. Great! I recommend. Location - so close to everything, specially the best restaurants and main attractions. Not so good: They were short staffed at the breakfast. We had to push aside the dishes on the table, to sit and have our breakfast. The cleaning room service was not so great. Just one detail: They have macaws in an enclosure. Even if they were born in a captive environment, doesn't feel right. It's just my feeling. I feel bad for them. Maybe it's not a problem for most of people.

Wonderfull lodging ! Excellent location very near the Serra dos Órgãos National Park and the city of Teresópolis. The rooms and breakfast are excellent. It´s a very peacefull place to stay.The araras canindé are beautiful. I recommend to everyone.
