This 55-room, 2-story hotel (more structured like a US motel), is a favorite among Americans. It is located on Avenue du Café about ½ mile from entrance of University of Sau Paulo Ribierao Preto campus. The hotel staff has varied English language abilities, and very accommodating to international travelers (e.g., they provided me with electrical adapters, converters, and a hair...

This is my second stay here. The room smells odd, it's noisy, basic facilities. This morning I got burned with hot water from the shower. Breakfast is mediocre. You are better somewhere in the centre.

I've been there twice, and would gladly return. The rooms are comfortable and clean, well maintained (even though I saw a photo of a not-so-new toilet seat, the two rooms I stayed at were perfect). The breakfast is delicious and the reception staff was ready to help at anytime.

The "pousada" is not bad. But make no mistake, it is a simple place with a nice swimming pool. The location is good if you're in business with USP. The apartments are scattered around a central area where the restaurant and the swimming pool are located. Lots of stairs, not suitable for people with limited mobility. The bedrooms are simple,...

The staff here ia amazing. They do whatever they can to please the guests and make us more confortable. Breakfast is good and the scrambled eggs are the best I have ever tried. Beds are good and the air conditioner works fine. Swimming pool is small but my husband and I had a very relaxing morning sun bathing. Good location,...

I stayed for a week recently whilst working at nearby USP campus, which is within walking distance. The hotel doesn't look much from the road but is really very good once you enter. It is very clean, staff are pleasant and helpful and some speak a little English. Google translate does the rest if you don't have any Portuguese. Rooms...

Wonderful little hotel near the USP campus. From the road it looks like it might be just someones house but then once you are inside it is a large central area with rooms around the outside. Large breakfast area in the center with a pool. Comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff

I stayed three hours in this inn. Clean, but a very small room, with no hair dryer, a problem for people who came for a short business stay . They have cable TV, but a very small tube TV, unthinkable nowadays!! The big goal is that they charge you only half a daily rate and is really very close to...

“Rooms at the far end of courtyard from the reception may be quieter as less people walking past talking or trundling suitcases. Beware dawn cockerel crowing.”
