The staff is great, They work very well. The cleaner are not very well, but is acceptable The localization is very nice, near many restaurants. The hotel needs actualization, but its working well. The breakfast is very nice too. I recommend. The bed is a little bit old.

the best part of this hotel was that the staff spoke English which was very scarce in Brazil. The room were plush and comfortable enough and breakfast was just about sufficient. Also the hotel location was good having many restaurant around

I stayed here for 5 days - really liked it, very homely. The staff were excellent - very friendly and mostly spoke english and the concierge gave good recommendations for going out. The breakfast in the morning was excellent also - fresh fruit and juices. Would definetely recommend this if staying in Sao Carlos

Hotel is located in the center, 5min away from the bus station. Rooms are fine, but have already seen a couple of years of use. Breakfast is also fine. Staff speaks English. TV has many channels, also in English.

I agree with previous posters that this is not a brand new smart hotel. However, the rooms are very clean, if dated and a little worn. The staff are great and the food is more than fine. Good wifi access in my room, and great caipinrinhas. I stay in a lot of hotels and this wasn't at all posh, but... More

I was rather nervous about staying in this hotel having read some of the reviews. I do agree that the decor is a bit dated. However, to me that gave the hotel a very nice character. The room was clean and also pleasantly quiet compared to most hotels in Brazilian cities. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The lady at... More

The good: The staff really try to welcome you and be helpful. The reception is modern and clean and the Japanese restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is good, probably better than I expected. The rooms are clean and my bathroom was reconditioned and ok The not so good: The rooms are outdated, stark, noisy and, damn it, just worn out. The... More

The problem is that this is the only hotel option in downtown, and they know it, and they use it. Let's start with the positives: Service staff is mostly friendly, and the lobby is modern. BUT ... the rooms! First they look like they haven't been re-decorated for decades! The furniture is broken in various places, the carpet is filthy,... More

I absolutley can't agree with user "DeaStaedt". There are two lifts in the hotel, which is ok for 83 rooms. The stair is in between the two lifts and easy to find (the door has a sticker). I have a big mirror in my room and a normal mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom has a normal size. They have... More

There has been a makeover of the hotel restaurant since I last visited nearly a year ago and there is now a Japanese restaurant at night - and the food is quite good - really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi. I love being on the first floor so I can walk the stairs - but remember to press the light... More
