The central location is superb, especially after long days exploring the region. Close to many excellent restaurants and the Plaza. Staff are all very friendly and abundantly helpful. Breakfasts are large and superb, with local ingredients. The internet works well in the library and open air lounge. The small pool is not for swimming but is fine for cooling off...

It's comfortable, very clean and quiet place. The location is great also, walking distance from the main street where you can find many restaurants. Breakfasts are awesome in this hotel, especially for the quinoa cookies... Loved it! The only bad thing was that the rooms don't have A/C, but it wasn't a problem for us because in the night the...

My first day on the Terrantai I so the floor full of dust, black hairs, on floor, on bathroom, on shower, than I came to the bed and on the bedframe was a excrement of bird, a bird poop on the bed frame and nobody cleaned. Was disgusting. How a bird or a pigeon could enter on the room to...

W stayed here for 6 nights and 5 days in March 2014 and loved it. Nice little pool area for day off from the incessant day-tripping, and that area has to be little (4 lounge chairs) because of the downtown location. But the location is key. The hotel can only be compared to the really high-end spots like Explora or...

The Lodge Terrantai is in a perfect location--a block off the main street, but in a quiet setting. Prices in San Pedro are high, but the Terrantai is fairly reasonably priced for this locale. The room was pleasant, although a little dark and the common areas were quite nice and relaxing. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and welcoming....

San Pedro de Atacama is known for its extremes: full of hostels and high-end hotels, with a few options in the middle. Among the mid-range hotels (let's say, from 100 to 300 USD per night), Terrantai has the best location of all, so that's why we picked it. You can't beat its location: its right behind the Church, the Town...

The hotel could not be more perfectly located in the center of town, with easy access to restaurants and shops. The room was decorated in a rustic but comfortable way, with a large bathroom and a glass back wall which opened to a secluded and very pretty patio. The front door to the room faced the very nice pool area....
