We stayed three nights in this jewel in the desert. Our adobe villa was spacious and unique, complete with adobe furniture and both an indoor and outdoor shower. Although there are many nearby restaurants, we had several meals in the excellent restaurant. The staff were delightful and very accommodating, including preparing a pre-sunrise breakfast on a morning when we had...

We stayed here for three nights while we toured the sights around San Pedro de Atacama. Unique adobe construction kept the room cool during the warm days and warm during the cool desert nights. Service was good and the pool and lounge area in the lobby were nice. Rooms were spacious and the outdoor showers were a nice touch. Restaurant...

Arrival is a bit un-prepossessing, a wide sandy road wends its away out of town between straggly bushes, wire fences and tottering walls. The hotel entrance is a just a door in an adobe wall alongside the road but inside is a friendly welcoming reception and small seating area/bar with restaurant alongside. Rooms are in separate single- story adobe buildings...

A tranquil desert escape , the hotel provides individual Adobe style rooms that blend with the area. There is a decent size pool area, lovely gardens and a restaurant all in a very quiet setting on the edge of town. Whilst the rooms are very spacious and comfortable they lack a mini bar or fridge and any tea or coffee...

We spent three nights in November , the hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming . The facilities were excellent particularly when you consider its location. The owners have put a great emphasis on being able to relax in a number of comfortable outside areas , making the hotel a great place to relax after experiencing both the heat...

My wife and I went for a trip to San Pedro de Atacama, we rented a car and pick it up at the airport in Calama, the scenery from the beginning was just stunning driving through the driest desert in the world. Our arrival at the hotel was welcomed with a drink and then a little rest in our room...

This is a stunning hotel with magnificent views but sadly it lets itself down on service. The pool area is lovely but not given any obvious attention - the pool is quite dirty & there are no staff around so it gets rather rowdy (not the relaxing space I'd hoped for). Room was lively but very dark - the lights...

I stayed at Hotel Altiplánico for one night and Hotel Cumbres for 7 nights. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was a miniature version of Cumbres, but half the price! When I was at Cumbres, I could see that they had placed a lot of efforts (even to the minor details, e.g. music...
