Having read the 20 or so reviews for this hotel, I feel compelled to add mine to it. The hotel is very nice indeed, but none of the reviews mentions the highway running straight past this hotel. The noise from the cars and lorries that thunder past truly puts a stamp on this place. My wife and I went for...

I have just returned from two amazing weeks in Chile one of our places we stayed in was Hotel Casa de Campo. We had it booked and when our driver pulled up randomly off a busy motorway I didn't expect much but I was truly surprised. We were welcomed by the warmest smile and shown to a room with the...

What a great find! If you are travelling to Chile and to Colchagua region, this is the best price x value we found in the region, and I surched a lot in internet... Lovely property, well located - 1,5 km from Santa Cruz center - very big and confortable rooms (huge beds in the twin room), the best hotel breakfast...

I am regretfully a bit late in writing this review...but, as they say, you never forget your first love and although it's been almost a year since I stayed at Casa de Campo, I can still remember it like it was yesterday. On a 5-star scale, I would easily rate this place a 6! Firstly, the accomodations are magnificent -...

Organised a trip around central Chile ourselves staying at many locations. However our two favourite places stayed at were both in the Colchaggua Valley including Casa de Campo. The Hotel wa easy to book by E Mail and easy to find with an excellent location just outside Santa Cruz.. This is a family owned and run Hotel and upon our...

Stayed for two nights in Jan '10. This was our favorite hotel in Chile. The staff is fantastic (make sure you spend some time with Virginia, she is wonderful!) The rooms are very large and comfortable with a fantastic view of the valley. Breakfast was yummie and the location was perfect for visiting the nearby bodegas and/or Santa Cruz. If...

This is an excellent little hotel on the outskirts of Santa Cruz. The hotel is run by a family who are incredibly hospitable. We stayed for the last 2 nights of 2009 (including New Year's Eve). On the first night we requested a taxi to take us to the atmospheric Pan Pan Vinovino restaurant, but there wasn't one to be...

The reviews on this site prompted us to book 2 nites at Casa de Campo in Santa Cruz. We were nervous because none of the 4 travel books we consulted mentioned it ~ but now we know why... this place is only 1 year old!!! Honestly, it has the atmosphere as if you are staying in a 100 year old...

Believe all of the other reviews. This place is amazing! The staff and the owners couldn't be more warm and friendly. The owners spent 30 minutes at our check out drawing us a map showing us how to get to Valparaiso-- and they were right on! Great restaurant recommendations by them: Bistro Veta, PanPan VinoVino, a Peruvian place with Barreales...

The owners couldn't be any nicer and take personal care of their guests. Breakfast was amazing - full spread of delicious meats, cheeses, freshly picked fruits (Colchagua Valley is in the fruit basket of Chile), homemade pastries and juices. Room was very roomy (biggest of the trip), bed comfortable and view superb! We spent most nights with bottle of wine...
