This hostel was in the perfect location. It was close enough to yellow mountain and was situated in the quaint town of Tunxi. The town was a lovely place to explore! The hostel itself had a really big double room which had good facilities and everything you needed. Also the people who work there were very helpful. We were very...

It's a great location for the hostel and nice walking around the town and old street. The hostel staff spoke great English and were very helpful in helping me get to the mountain and where to go for the day. The rooms are basic but accomodating. The bar is good but you can find cheaper drinks in a restaurant down...

There was a thank-you email message the moment we booked, which was nice. We stayed in a triple room with ensuite bathroom. The heating from the air-conditioner was inadequate and it was very cold at night. Our room opens onto a nice cosy open area for chatting and having a drink. The hostel is housed in a shop which sells...

I was told that Huangshan isn't a cold cit, so didn't expect it to be nearly forzen when I arrived. the room was cold, there wasn't much heating facilities, but I guess they weren't really built for winter seasons. there is a nice bar thou, not too many folks, but drinks are alright

The location of the hostel is very good at the end of the Old Street of Tunxi. The staff is amazing and very helpful. From Tunxi I did trip to Anhui villages and the girls were always ready to advice me about the transport and what to see there. I stayed in four-bed female dorm with its own bathroom. It...

At the far end of Old Street from the bus/train station (a short bus/taxi ride away) located in the back of one of the tourist shops. Staff were super helpful in advising on trips to nearby villages and Huangshan mountain and most spoke very good English. Double room was clean though a little run-down, but good value. Had considered staying...

We stayed in a double room here for a few nights when we were touring the area and hiking Mount Huangshan. The hostel is in a great location right in the middle of the Old Town with easy access to the bus and train stations (via a quick taxi ride or walk 20-30 minutes) and also to the river. The...

Based on all the reviews, I honestly expected more. OK, location is good and staff is friendly. The restaurant across the street is definitely a plus. However, the hostel is extremely noisy and they lack big time when it comes to cleanness. I've been to way better hostels. I'd recommend for a couple of nights maximum - and if you're...

Amazing staff! So helpful and friendly. Helped us organise trips in the area and advised us on what to see, where to go. An amazing location in the ancient part of the city with lots of little restaurants and shops nearby and interesting little streets to explore. Big rooms, great views and such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

This hostel is located inside a tea shop on a very pretty street in the town of Tunxi. You enter through the tea shop and at the very end is the reception. The hostel was surprisingly clean and pleasant. It was inexpensive, and we we got a double room with private bathroom. The staff was friendly.
