Called the International and where most foreign tourists stay, it is hardly international in style or spirit. Food relentlessly Chinese. Very dated decor, reminding one if the 1950s or 1960s. Rooms are nevertheless large and comfortable with all amenities.

We spent two nights in this hotel while on a tour with Sinorama Tours, and it turned out to be my favorite of the hotels on the trip, mainly because of location. It is right on the river and within walking distance of downtown and the night market. As with all of our hotels on the tour, the room was... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a 14 day China tour. The hotel was adequate but definitely not luxury. The room was hot and the temperature could not be controlled. Our window opened directly into another window that was the window of a sitting area near the elevator. That was very noisy so we had to keep our... More

Very clean rooms, but a real rabbit warren of passages making it difficult to find your room. Nice views over the river and also to the internal gardens. Breakfast was fairly space on Western choices. We found a fabulous string of local shops 15 mins walk away. Turn left out of hotel, walk along river to next bridge, look across... More

We spent only one night in this hotel. The price is reasonable, breakfast is great, nice staff. As recommended- spend only one full day on the mountain and come back to sleep here, you'll return tried ( it is an hour+ to return from the mountain to the city), but satisfied!

This hotel has good rooms and facilities, very clean and conveniently located. Breakfast buffet has very limited options for westerners, the food was too Chinese! Arrived late night and there was no food available in restaurant or room service...

I was in Room 617 with a view of the river. At night, the trees and bridge were lit up with ever-changing, multi-colored lights. Beautiful! As in all 5 hotels that I stayed in, the carpets were dirty, but slippers were always provided. This room was nicely furnished & equipped with a computer, weigh scales, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee, tea,...
