Truly a 5 Star hotel set up and from Check in to a 2 night stay ... not a single issue. Very comfortable room and meals for lunch & dinner are of good standards taking consideration that the hotel is way upon the Mountain. Will come back again during my next visit .

Definitely the best choice up in the mountains. Nice and clean, staff also reasonably helpful. Prices are high though, especially coffee. And american coffe comes at a ridiculous 15$ per cup. The restaurant is not good, very tasteless food

This hotel is glossier that expected, especially given its location. We thought we were going to get a small pension but it's quite grand and glossy, like a proper hotel! The facilities are limited, there are no gyms or pools or anything fancy like that but why do you need to do extra exercise if you are exercising all day...

Theres no tarmac road access to this hotel, and its quite a hike form the Cable Car station. You need to be decently fit to even get to its doorstep. But its quiet, clean, and has a great view. Its a amazing to think how they even built this place in the middle of the mountains. We saw porters carrying...

I've booked directly with the hotel booking system and double confirmed with online chatting system with the hotel advisor. Guess what, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk told me they found my booking 3 days later. I even received an after stay comment email and stated my stay is the exact date I booked. Disaster booking system....

But to my surprise , the room looks very stylish ,modern . has kettle ,chinese tea bags, no coffee though as in most chinese hotels.Bathroom is bright...

Efficient and very polite front desk staff, bar tenders, restaurant managers and waiters! Most of them are young and eager to speak (practice) English with foreigners. Good quality and large quantities of breakfast of both Chinese and Western menus prepares us or the hard hiking each day! The room (with a balcony on the 2nd floor) is very clean and...

After hiking for several hours up and down the hills in Huangshan, all I look for is a clean hotel with a hot shower and a nice bed. The Xihai hotel has both. It's clean and newly renovated. Of course it cannot be compared with the big brands like intercontinental. There are minor problems in the room like the handle...

It is a government owned/managed hotel on the mountain. The newest and considered the best--designed for foreigners. All goods in the hotel (like other hotels) are carried up by porters who are paid by the weight of the goods carried! In context of the hotel ownership--it's a very nice hotel with good amenities. They offer warm jackets in every room...

This hotel is probably the fanciest up on Huangshan. Check in process was easy, though we had to wait for about 20 mins for our room as we checked in quite early (Around 10.30am). The room itself is relatively small but spacious / clean enough for one night stay. We were expecting no bathroom amenities but surprised to see shampoo...
