Obviously an older hotel in what is essentially a tourist location. However the rooms are good, well appointed, clean and well equipped. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was OK. Off season some facilities were "offline" like the massage centre but that didn't matter. All for the princely sum of £20 per night. You could easily spend a few...

The Hotel location is fantastic. However, the hotel is really sucks ! Hotel is not worth as the price, old, dirty, smelly....even the room's door cannot open and the air-conditioner not proper work ! The front counter service is worst ! Wifi not stable !

Good location for walking down west street which is not to be missed. Bed hard, good view from the balcony. Breakfast for westerner s served in a separate dining room with excellent choice. Staff helpful and hotel clean.

The Hotel is not a real 4 stars and it is pricy for what it offers: it is dirty (when we arrived we found a pit on the carpet in our bedroom) and smelly, rooms are big but not well maintained, even the bathroom is not clean, the aircondition is not always working and furthermore is not a place for...

Room was small, though clean. VERY firm beds, and by that I mean you're sleeping on box-springs with a thin little pillow top. Service was generally helpful, though for my non Chinese speaking friends they found it less so. Interesting thing was they turned the bloody aircon off during the hot hours of the day and from about midnight onwards......

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2014. Very humid place - why then did the hotel turn off the air con at 7am each day and not switch it back on until 6pm? Meant the place smelled musty and damp most of the time. Bit beds, firm but OK. Nice bathrobes. Free Wi-Fi didn't work outside of the lobby...

Centre of town, a bit tatty around the edges In places. Emperor size bed. Dinner was tasty with freshly cooked dishes. Helpful pleasant staff. Tea & coffee making in the room. Reasonable breakfast. wiFi is problematic, with only a small settee & a couple of easy chairs on the foyer being the only place for access.

We stayed her for one night whilst visiting Yangshuo. We thought the hotel was pretty poor to be honest. Our room was not particularly clean and had various different colour wall paper as decoration. The hotel was quite noisy and the breakfast was frankly poor. There are a lot of nice hotels in Yangshuo, especially near either of the rivers....
