This hotel is near 20th street where lots of restaurants and bars with outdoor seating are located. Easy walk to lots of dining choices. Also fairly close to UAB medical facilities. This you will hear some sirens at night. Great staff at front desk. There is a charge for parking. Room was standard but clean. Beds were comfortable.

We recently stayed over a weekend related to a family wedding with the ceremony and accompanying events being held in the downtown area. Did the mobile check-in and Chris at the front desk handled our check-in lickety split. Our rooms were clean and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the mornings. Yes, parking and ingress/egress can be a...

The hotel is in a great location downtown near UAB and local restaurants. The staff is very accommodating. The breakfast and evening socials are quite nice. The property is well maintained and the rooms are neat and clean. My only complaint is the unwiilingness to honor some corporate rates

I liked this hotel! The A/C was smooth and quiet (no loud compressor cycling loudly on and off all night). It was walking distance from two good restaurants I visited and many more in view. Ten minutes or so by Uber from the airport. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Birmingham.

Stayed here for a week on business, enjoyed it very much. Accommodating staff, nice room, good housekeeping, decent value for price paid. The location is convenient to many restaurants at five points (walking distance). Laundry room on 6th floor. Parking can be a challenge, be prepared to haul your stuff - or unload in the porte cochere and then park...

If you go back and look at any of my reviews, I've never, ever given a bad rating, generally because if there is ever an issue (and when you travel 40 weeks a year issues arise) I am able to work a solution with the hotel management. This time is different. I have stayed at this hotel a few times...

The Pet Fee is charged to all guests to sanitize the room, after a pet stays in the room. This is currently not part of the Marriott Rewards Benefits and is a standard operating procedure we are required to follow. Service animals are free of charge under this policy. Thank you.

Came to town to attend an Ordination and spent two nights at the Residence Inn. The room was very spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. Had a sitting area with sofa bed and kitchen area. Couldn't ask for more. A satisfying hot breakfast buffet in the morning too! Only negative is that the parking lot is too small. Loved it and...

After staying here twice, I thought I found a new hotel to accommodate my needs - overlooking the outdated furniture and small televisions in relation to the price of the suite. However, this may have been my last visit to the property. I had trouble checking in on the mobile app, so I called the hotel as I was travelling,...

Clean and comfortable. It seemed to me as if there were folks who weren't staying the hotel in the pool and parking lot. That was strange. The air conditioning worked well in our room. It was clean and adequate! The sofa bed was clean but old and not too comfortable.

I had a quick trip to Birmingham and stayed at the Residence Inn Birmingham. The location is not as downtown as it was described, it's within the UAB campus. It's clean, the staff is pleasant, but the breakfast was awful and the rec facilities were sub par. It's just OK.
