First time in town and this was a great option -- not prime location but there are several great restaurant/bars options right outside. Not that you need it, the bar in the hotel is great. Live music, amazing ambiance. Room and hotel overall is good as any other Westin -- and what one would expect anywhere they travel and stay...

We enjoyed a long holiday weekend at the Westin Birmingham. The rooms are comfortable with all of the Westin amenities. Staff recognize SPG status and are very helpful with directions, dinning recommendations. Self parking is available and is about $10 less than valet. The coffee shop attached to the hotel has a limited morning menu but the Todd English offers...

Stayed here a couple of times and have been very satisfied. Downtown but only 10 minutes from the airport. It has a good restaurant on premise but also a couple of good options, Mexican and Steak, just a short walk across the parking lot. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The fitness room is decent, though a few of...

The Birmingham Westin is in the center of town with easy access to the interstate and about 15 min from the airport. We stayed there for one night; got in late so did not spend much time exploring the hotel. Like all Westin hotels we have stayed in this one represents the brand well.

Stayed at this hotel for weekend while attending wedding in Homewood. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, quiet and in great condition. Only thing missing in room is a second sheer drape at window. There is only the blackout drape so totally open for light or totally closed. Disappointing.

When I heard that the Westin was coming to Birmingham, I was excited and could not wait for a higher grade hotel in town. We stayed there for a girls shopping trip, and we were not wowed with the Westin. We had some pros and cons from our visit. Pros - We were able to get our rooms adjoining when...

Outstanding hotel in the middle of the convention area of the BJCC. A lot newer and a bit more upscale than the Sheraton. Uptown area is nice and just off the highway, easy access to highways and right next to the BJCC. Really nice place to overnight.

This hotel is "steps from Uptown", and is in a great location. The hotel is very clean and the staff is excellent. There are several restaurants to choose from, and the hotel restaurant/bar is outstanding. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport which runs every 30 mins.

Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located just off of the main interstate. Felt new and modern. Didn't experience any issues. Plenty of dining options in the new Uptown area. Parking in attached garage for a fee. Stayed for 1 night and was booked through Express Deals on Priceline.

I recently stayed here on a work trip. The hotel is modern. The staff was very friendly. The beds are very comfortable. There are many restaurants near by.
