I have stayed here many times, this time in the mini apartment. There is a new shower and bathroom suite which made my stay even more enjoyable. Mr Butljer makes excellent wine which he shares regularly with his guests and Mrs B does fab meals which kept me going even when I was full already. Make sure you book direct... More

After spending a wonderful 13 days in Montenegro, we had planned for 1 day of sightseeing in Croatia and booked Villa Cavtat. While the town of Cavtat itself is very pretty and has excellent transport links to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, we could not have been more disappointed with our accommodation. When we arrived, our party (3 adults and... More

I am frequent traveler and this was my third visit to Croatia, which by the way is a beautiful country. So far my whole Croatian experience was great except for my stay in Cavtat (also a nice little town) at Vila Cavtat, owned by Mr. Mijo Butijer and his wife. Our room was extremely small and when we offered to... More

Where can I start… Cavtat is probably the nicest place I have EVER been to. Cavtat is about 5-10 minutes drive from the airport which is great. Planes do cross over Cavtat but to be honest are hardly noticed. The Villa Cavtat Apartment where we stayed in had probably the best view in Cavtat overlooking both bays aswell as a... More

Yet again we have stayed at the Butijers Villa Cavtat. Mr Butler is no longer primative as his English is now excellent, as is his wine. Another enjoyable stay. Book direct with Michela and save a lot on commision from the usual agencies. They now have wireless internet so bring your computer. Cavtat gets more expensive each time we visit,... More

I was bringing a group to Croatia [--] and was having a terrible time getting anyone to help me accommodate 12 people. Finally Mihaela offered her help. She was able to get us a couple of rooms at Villa Cavtat (her families business) and the balance elsewhere. Mike offered a airport pick up service for a reasonable price. The rooms... More

The owner of the hotel was extremely helpful. Although our plane was two hours late and landed at midnight, he waited to pick us up and transfer us at no extra cost. The room and en suite bath were basic and functional, exactly as we had expected considering the unusually low price. The owner was so friendly, obviously enjoying his... More

This was a great place to stay in Cavtat. The owners were very friendly and helpful for all my tourist info needs, both for Cavtat and Dubrovnik. It's a fairly basic place to sleep and have breakfast. But at breakfast on the patio, there's a great view of the Adriatic. It's only a 5-minute walk to the central (only?) intersection... More

Terrible choice!!!!! Villa Cavtat is everything else but Villa. Small rooms, old furniture and on the top of everything primitive owner Mijo Budijer. Two years ago I planed to spend 14 days at his pansion but on the thirteenth day of my stay, he told me that he’s got a new group of tourist who plan to stay for the... More
