The hotel is in Brulo outside of Porec with about a ten minute walk into porec, really ideally located. The pool area is lovely surrounded by trees but onlooking the sea. The choice of food was really good, lots of fish, meat, salad etc i think most people would find something they would like and it was all fresh and...

Another visit to Croatia (Istra) - this time it was just for the week-end. We found this hotel deal on the internet. It funny that one can not rely on star ratings of hotels... This is a 3* hotel, but it is really nice. It is not new, but some parts were renovated, so overall it is a very pleasant...

I just spent 4 days at Valamar Rubin. Despite being a bit old, the resort is perfectly located, 10 min walking from the city center and a stone's throw away from the sea. Spaces are wide and bright. Food was not the best, but was abundant. Room was old furnished and a bit small but enough for few days. Swimming...

We were moved here by Valamar with no explanation , but made the most of it. The hotel is a good 20-30 mins walk into Porec centre or you can get the train from the seafront near by. The Rubin is nicely turned out and all the staff friendly and helpful. We had a sea view room which had a...

I spent four days in this hotel, having a conference organized in other hotels that are part of Valamar property. It seems very nice for 3* category, but a service in lobby cafe hasn't been friendly upon our arrival. Half-board food was excellent in very pleasant restaurants. The only thing missing was the cold and moldy room in the ground...

This was my 2nd stay at Valamar Rubin, and I was slightly dissapointed. The room (Booked a romantic room which is basicly an upgrade to any basic room) was still pretty good, flatscreen tv, dvd player, good bed, nice bath and good working airco. Als the housekeeping did her job well, everything was clean. Though the food was pretty bad...

We just returned from a two-night stay at the Valamar Rubin as part of an Istrian coast sojourn and if I have to sum up this property in a word it would be 'passable'. It has good points; the location is excellent, only a short stroll along the seaside to Poreč town. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet...

Other than meal times which were a bit hectic, this hotel was a nice walk into poréc along the shoreline. There's plenty to do and if your room has a sea view there's a nice terrace for your room. The pool is cold which makes it so so refreshing as the days are hot!!! Only thing is...it closes at 6pm.....
