Just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. We could not fault any aspect of our holiday! A 2 hour 20 flight time is a good start; Pula airport is small but very efficient, with lots of passport control officers coming on...More

Lots to do in and around hotel. Very safe and interesting flat, partially shaded promenade to nearby Rabac - lovely ice creams on the way, pedalo's, shops, stalls etc. Various boat trips although check how long they are out for - we went to Cres and it was 1.5-2 hours each way - no good. The water park via Tui is really good - clean, safe, compact with plenty to do - maybe an hour on the coach. Labin is 5-10 min away in a taxi or 20 min in bus. Nice square with good restaurants (Napoli Pizzeria very good quality, cheap, clean and lovely menu) - have a nice walk around after lunch on cobbled streets. Museum has a mock up of a coal mine underneath which if your 4 year old is quite brave they may like. In the same way a brief climb to the top of the bell tower is quite an adventure. Car hire is say £100 per day and if you want to get out worth doing. We went to Slovenia but suggest too far for 4 year old. Don't do Bled/Venice/Piltvice - too far. Maybe also do Tui flavours of Istria - Pula, Ravinj interesting although maybe not top of list for toddler ! Enjoy - you won't be disappointed.
