Jamu Lodge was very clean, provided excellent service and lots of good food. We were very satisfied all around. Galo, our guide, is so knowledgeable and has a very keen eye for finding even the smallest critters like young young boas on a tree branch as we cruised in the canoe. We highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I booked Jamu Lodge via Gullivers Travel in Quito after being recommended them from our hostel. We searched around several other agencies and we felt this lodge was by far the best in quality. Our guide Galo was knowledgable and was always on the look out for more things to show us on our day trips. The...

Very nice lodge with incredible guide Ronald, who shared his knowledge of the Amazon wildlife with us with extraordinary energy. Amazing diners from a small kitchen. Nice rooms. Some rooms at the top are quite challenging: without walls and roof, but woth bats and an occasional boa...

We visited in the wet season and found this experience amazing! Our guide Galo was fantastic, friendly and helpful and great at spotting animals and giving us a lot of time to look. Swimming in the lagoon was an unexpected bonus! Food and facilities at the lodge were great. Comfortable beds. Warm showers. The rooms have mosquito nets and screens...

We had quite low expectations about lodges in the Amazon but were pleasantly surprised! We had great rooms with surprisingly few bugs, service was great as was the food. Even when our flight home was inexplicably cancelled the staff helped us to get back to Quito on time to the best of their ability while still trying to fit in...

We were a family of 7 (from 15 years old to 80 years old!) sharing 3 bedrooms on a 4 day trip with the Jamu Lodge. It takes a long time to get there : first from Quito either by bus or by plane, then a 2 hours bus journey, lunch pique-nique and then the fun starts straight away with...

Jam Lodge was a highlight of our Ecuador explorations. We saw great wildlife (many species of birds, monkeys, snakes, and insects), enjoyed sunset swims in Lago Cuyabeno, and traveled the flooded jungle in style with motorized and non-motorized canoes. The guides were good, particularly Ronald. Rooms are very comfortable. Food nothing special, but plentiful and good. Staff was flexible when...

My husband and I in our late twenties visited the lodge may2016, and had a great time. Tours are well organized, guides are very knowledgeable. Our room was very nice and had our own bathroom, it was much more than I expected for being in the middle of the jungle.

I stayed in Jamu lodge for 4 days/3 nights. The guide's knowledge was very good and we were able to see an enormous amount of snakes, monkeys, birds and other animals including dolphins, slots and caymans. The food was very good and although basic, the cabanas were clean and neat. A very good experience for nature-lovers!
