The lodge is very lovely, with nice rooms and a beautiful open dinnerarea. There is a bar and a lot of hammocks upstairs the dinnerarea to relax after the program. Food is really really good and there is a very friendly kitchenstaff. They have a special meal for vegetarians. Only negative point, they could buy a toaster for breakfast. The...

This was a once in a lifetime experience! Everything about this place was fantastic. Night hikes, visiting the Indigenous communities, spotting unbelievable wildlife were just some of the highlights. The staff, and location are great, and even luxurious for being in the jungle. The food is simple, tasty and filling. Our guide, Pedro, was excellent! However, it is the jungle,...

Beautiful natural setting right in the jungle set among age-old trees. The staff was friendly and the food excellent. Very well planned canoe trips both for day and night. Walking in the jungle at night with flashlights (and plenty of mosquito repellent, just in case) was an experience in itself but swimming off the canoe in the river during sunset...

It was amazing. In the beginning it was strange getting used tot the bugs in your room. Cause the rooms are open and in the middle of the jungle. Our guide was Ronald. He was a great guide, just loving nature and his enthusiasm was making us enthusiastic.

We had a great experience. The food was excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our guide Ronald was exceptional. This lodge is way in the amazon so there are few amenities. That is what we wanted.

The staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Our guide, Ronaldo, was amazing. He saw the animals where we just saw trees. He took our cameras and made brilliant photos for all of our group. The trips were fantastic and we saw lot of animals and plants. The room was simple, but clean. We had towels and shower gel. Maybe good...

Located next to a river, in the middle of the rainforest, you can hear the birds by day and the crickets by night. The Lodge is very clean, bedrooms cleaned every day - but it`s just normal, if a gecko or an ant comes into the open room (no windows). Staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful, the kitchen offered excellent...

The lodge was booked by our travel agent and we loved our stay here, although I agree with other reviewers that there will be similar lodges on the river with similar programs and accommodation. Jamu lodge is upgraded every year. Part of the accommodation does now have hot water and electric lighting in the evening. During our stay charging of...
