We really enjoyed our staying at Manso Hotel. The place is central located, easy to do things around Guayaquil. They provide with acurate information to see attractions in town. Roons are pretty, wide and clean! Staff are nice, breakfast is delicious!

We loved the location - close to the Malecon promenade along the river - it seemed the whole city was out to enjoy it on the weekend. Nearby the park with land iguanas - how they get them to stay there in the middle of the city is a mystery. The place was very friendly, with funky decor and airconditioning... More

Located right on malecon but not close to anything that's open when it's not business hours. Staff were very friendly, security seems good and kitchen amazing. 4 room dorm was a little smelly and the aircon wasn't working so it was very humid. We managed to get it turned on in the end thank goodness. Locker was small (byo lock... More

Dear Sakura, I am sorry if my staff didnt provide you with the right travel directions in the area. It is not accurate to say that everything is closed in this are after business hours. We are half block from the University of the Arts, which has activities day and night. Entrance to Malecon 2000 is right in front of... More

The Location of Hotel is fantastic...downtown of Guayaquil, near Malecon 2000 and Las Penas. Some rooms having river view. Price is also good...we stayed for Business arround 2 month in Manso Boutique Guesthouse and getting special Price of 25 Dollar/Day. If you need quite rooms then take rooms without riverview because on riverside you have a street with lots of... More

When we stepped in from the street, we weren't expecting much, as the doorway was small and hidden, and you had to climb a flight of stairs. But we were greeted warmly by a gent that was cleaning the stairwell, and the girls at the front desk ( sorry I don't remember their names Ricardo!). We checked in and were... More

A couple things to do in Guayaquil is walk the malecon and then go to Las Penas area for walking and eating. This hotel puts you $5 for taxi from airport and places you at the street across from the Malecon. Hotel is inexpensive ....has wifi...acceptable breakfast ...tv in lobby on each floor ....good solid value for a great location.

I have to say I'm not a huge fan of Guayaquil, but if you are passing through for some reason or another this is a great spot. The room was small but comfortable, the price was OK for the location (right on the Malecon) and the restaurante is top notch, love the organic produce and the menu. They don't have... More

I stayed at the Manso twice. Both times, the room I got was very spacious and clean, with a huge bathroom. Its location is unbeatable, directly on the Malecon. You can hear some noise from the street, but it didn't affect my sleep - and I'm a very light sleeper! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good.... More

We have stayed at the Manso quite a few times. The staff has always been really friendly and helpful towards us. We never had any problems staying there. Even the times we have arrived before our arrival time they willingly guarded our belongings so we could enjoy the rest of the afternoon. We like the location because it is by... More
