Seventh floor apartment building in central Guayaquil. Owner was very welcoming and helpful during our stay of two nights. The location was safe and central, being close to downtown sites and the Malecon. Bathroom was a little tired but clean as was the room and common areas which was being upgraded by the owner. Very good breakfast included although a...

Being on the seventh floor, on a somewhat seedy street, there were no green areas. The elevator smelled dank. Security was heavy-duty. However, it was an easy walk to the malecon. The room air conditioner worked, and the common areas had fans. We had the large corner room with 2 comfortable beds. There was tons of storage space, and enough...

We booked a last minute stay at Casa de Romero after we discovered that there were no buses traveling into Peru until the following day. We were not disappointed. On arrival we got a full run down of the hostel and some restaurant recommendations. Te staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We also put our washing in that afternoon and...

The staff is helpful and has English speaking assistant who arranges help with taxis directions, etc. Room rental includes good breakfast. Rates are reasonable and I am returning to this B&B next month.

A friend stays here often and recommended it to us. Our room was on the 7th floor, clean, quiet and comfortable. $5 taxi ride to the airport, which they called for us before 6:00 in the morning. We left early so could not avail ourselves of their breakast, though we stashed our own food in the fridge. The two receptionists...

The last time I stayed here was in March 2013 - whenever I've tried to rebook since the hotel has always been full (good for them, not for me!). I've stayed here twice and always found the staff friendly and willing to answer any questions about facilities or Guayaquil in general, and two of them spoke English (my Spanish is...

We were 2 women each with our own room. My room had a private bath, aircon, cable TV, closet and an old fashioned dresser. My friend's room even had a balcony. There was a breezy living room with free wifi and good free breakfast. The location is just perfect, there is an elevator to the 7th floor and they called...

We were late coming in due to airline delays. They were still accommodating and helped us get settled even at 1:00am. Thank you! Breakfast was wonderful as well! Thank you for the hospitality! We would choose again upon a return.
