This hotel is located in a very good spot. The showers do have hot water which is always a plus. The Beds are comfortable. The decor is very Southwestern America. Being a Texan this was cool. The wifi is strong. Breakfast cost $3 not very filling you may do better going out.

After walking out on a reservation at a different hostel, I came here because it was close to where my friends were staying. He quickly got me set up with a room, towels, and wifi. The room was nice considering I paid $15 and had a room to myself. It was clean (I checked for bedbugs), and more than enough... More

Stayed here for 1 night in June. Last minute decision to stay in Otavalo to visit the markets . The hotel is very clean and you can see that they are constantly working on upgrading it. The staff are extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit to Otavalo and the Santa Fe Hotel

We called the hotel before driving an hour to Otavalo for our visit. On the phone we were quoted a price for a triple room. We went ahead and reserved the room and headed over to the hotel. When we arrived we were informed that they did not have a triple available at the hotel, but they would drive us... More

My friend and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Hostal Santa Fe 2. The room is clean and spacious. Ours has a full bed and bunk beds with plenty of room for our bags. The bathroom is quite sufficient with a large shower and great hot water pressure. The staff is very kind and friendly. Marta was quite... More

Nothing special about this place. It is centrally located which is good, the staff are friendly and the rooms clean and tidy if not a little small. If you are passing through would be fine. Did not have breakfast or dinner so cannot comment about the food.

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour, there are two sister hotels this review is for Santa Fe one. As with so many budget South American hotels , the design of the interior windows does lead to them having zero sound proofing, unfortunately , I was allocated room 106 , this room is at the top of... We checked in as a group of ~20 to stay a couple of days in Otavalo. The rooms were clean, the hotel personnel was nice and helpful - with the exception of one receptionist. The guys entered to single-bed room of a 19y old girl of our group. As by her statements, he asked to sleep in her room. Regardless... More

There are two Hotel Santa Fe hostels in Otavalo. We stayed at Sante Fe II this trip and it was a very nice, friendly and clean hotel. Our room was comfortable but a few set backs prohibit us from giving a higher rating. Firstly, they advertise wifi in the rooms. This is false. We had intermittent wifi at the front... More

We are at Hotel Santa Fe 2 -- on Calle Cristobal Colon - sister to this hotel. It's just 2 or 3 blocks from the market. It's clean It's convenient. Noise in the halls echoes - and that stopped by 10pm so got a great sleep. We are 2 American adults and are finding the 'one big bed' they're giving... More
