We went to Riobamba just to stay for a night and to continue travel to Alausi to ride the famous "nariz de diablo"-train. As we arrived at mansion Santa Isabella it was like paradise. The lobby, patio, the restaurant, the rooms, everything was so well kept and the beautiful atmosphere was so warm that we really felt like home. The...

I have never been in a place so hearty before. The manager will personally welcome you. The service is perfect. If you need to go to Riobamba, you need to stay there. The place is perfectly clean and so gorgeous. Also, the restaurant of this hotel provides excellent typical fresh food.

What a delightful hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the management endearing and the dining room delicious. Our first night was was met with a glass of wine and it just got better every night we stayed. Worth the trip to Riobamba and will stay only here when I return.

The good service started already with the email contact for the reservation. Carlo responded immediately to my request and it was very easy to book the rooms. When we arrived we were welcomed already outside of the hotel and we entred a beautiful reception area with a fountain with rose pedals in the middle. The rooms and bathrooms are as...

Brand new hotel in a colonial house. nice decoration and all comfort. very central location. Good food. Above all these good points, a remarkable welcome and service from the team led by the newly appointed director. An excellent place where to stay in Riobamba.

We stayed two nights and we found the hotel great. Everything, from the lobby to the rooms and the restaurant are very fresh, newly renovated, and comparable to any european standard of quality. The hotel is owned by a very friendly couple: he is British and she is from Ecuador. Both take time to welcome the guests, chat around their...

This small hotel raises the bar in hospitality standards for Ecuador. I was greeted by "glad you came" smiles, and hence forward everybody called me by my name, and learned about my preferences, later anticipating with solutions before I ask (fruit, salads, Wi-Fi, water, etc.) The English manager/owner and Ecuadorean chef could be successfully running a boutique hotel in Aspen...

It was absolutely marvelous to stay in this clean, peaceful hotel in the centre of hectic, dirty Riobamba- a real refuge! The owners were really lovely and friendly and took loads of time to greet us, talk to us about the region and Ecuador in general and to advise us about our travels. And the breakfast was fantastic- so amazing...

Really loved this place, it ticks all the essentials (two blocks from the train station, wireless internet, comfortable beds) but it is also all about the little details that it has going for it. I can't stress enough how good it was to return from an arduous trekking trip and to jump into a lovely hot bath. The breakfast was...
