The rooms a re in good condition, cosy and clean. The whole place appears very cleaned up and natural. Perfect for families and honeymoon couples. If you seek the party or just more crowd you have to go somewhere else. They have good food too but you should order in advance since it takes quiet a while.

I visited with friends on 28th December. On the beach, Palm trees within feet, great location. Auntie Aggie, the owner very attentive, food good. Value for money. Recommended though road bumpy and pot-holey.

We had no idea when booking how beautiful, serene and stunning this gem of place would be! Only 25 minutes outside of Elmina, and TOTALLY worth the drive, this haven gave us the rest and relaxation one needed when touring in Ghana. The road to the Lodge had some potholes, so only drive in the day! Agnes and her family...

Thought we were booking our 2 night stay in the town Elmina but thank goodness for this most lovely retreat a short drive away from the busy-ness! Well worth the drive to be on a pristine and all natural beach right next to a small fishing village where the family who owns and operate it originates. All of the family...

We booked a three-night stay here at Brenu Beach Lodge via Booking.com, thinking that the hotel is located close to the Elmina Castle. However, to our dismay the hotel is indeed situated a 30-minute drive away from the advertised location. Our taxi took us through an unlit pothole-riddled trail through dense vegetation, and our driver accidentally drove into the beach...

Very nice and clean hotel. Very friendly staff and a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely come back here again. Location is close to elmina castle (not near cape coast castle as the location on TripAdvisor suggests) and directly at the beach. Food we tried was all nice and affordable prices.

This is my get away in Ghana. It has a feel like you are alone on an island filled with palm trees. The place is kept to a basic minimum. The food is good but they are very slow. It is good to order hours before you decide to eat. Me and my wife love and enjoy this place.

This lodge has secured itself a great position on the beach, with placid, pastel waves crashing gently on the shore. The food, eaten seaside, is delicious, especially the Ghanaian dishes like peanut sauce and red-red with fried plantains. The staff are attentive and generally anticipate your needs. The beds are comfortable as one falls asleep to the sound of waves.

This place was just amazing! We had a hard time finding it at first and the road is a bit rough getting there but as soon as we saw it we were so taken by it. Agnes, the owner, actually met us at the gate to help us find them and then she welcomed us in and did all she...

I had a nice experience when I checked in at the lodge. The director, Agnes was friendly and accommodating. My luggage was carried to my room and they showed me where I can relax and have my meal. The beach was excellent as I was able to relax, read my book and write my daily journal on the hammock. Stephen,...
