Sundancer is one of those secret spots that you'll only really find by word of mouth. Their self-catering apartments are perfect for families and couples alike and there's awesome snorkeling just off the dock. However, be advised, make sure you're not located down wind of the sump-pump. This unspoilt paradise is ruined by the pongy "eau de toilet" which is...

This place was pretty good. Our ride from the airport(included) never showed up. The cabana was clean and quiet and the pool was great. Overall it was a good experience. Roatan is an awesome place to visit

From the opening of the day up on the second floor "perch" with the birds, palms, blue sky and geckos - watching the ocean arouse the island, to the fresh salted air that lulled me to sleep, to the heavy rain that cleansed and diffused the day - my stay at the Sundancer cabana has charmed me. If you seek...

We stayed there for 12 days. It was a great place for everyone, the a frame of our Pete's cabin was what you expected it to be. Its a cabin" it has everything you need in it, the beds were very comfortable and it was clean. If there was something you need or could not find all you had to...

These are all beautiful wood construction, under a thick shady canopy, with winding trails through the grounds and down to the beach where we find the Sundancer Dock. We were quite comfortable here and had an air conditioned bedroom to retreat to if we needed a break from the heat. We also enjoyed the pool almost every day. We were...

Roatan was my first solo travelling experience outside of North America and it turned out to be absolutely life altering in so many respects. My assurance that I ,as a single, middle aged woman can, in fact, do more travelling by myself was largely a result of my experience at Sundancer. Lynne and Bob encouraged to make the trip and...

We've been to Roatan three times now and we always stay at Sundancer in Sandy Bay. The price is right and we get a whole house (3 BR, 2 BA - Pete's place), which helps a lot when you are traveling with young children. Great pool just steps away from the cabanas...beach is just a short, nicely landscaped, trail walk...

We have been to Sundancer three years in a row, and are planning on spending a couple of weeks there again this year. The resort itself is a mix of locals, expats and guests and the units are indivdually owned and are all a little bit different inside. The pool deck is getting a little shabby and might even be...

We returned from Roatan less than a month ago and we had such a great time at Sundancer Cabana,s it's still fresh in my mind.Sundacer is located in the Sandy Bay area of Roatan. It's secluded yet close enough to all activities on the island. The villa itself was the best equipped of any we had rented in Central America[Belize,Bocas del Toro,Yucatan]Great...

Next to the beach (not the most beatiful beaches of Roatan but nice too). Lot of peace, beatiful rooms, lot of nature all around. Quiet place and amazing views.. A little piece of paradise but dont forget to get your insecticide. And is better go by a car or rent one there, because markets, places to know and the rest...

“Cabana no. 2 is the one that is the closest to the beach and offers a great view from the balcony above.”
 of 5 bubbles 699esthers, 5 Jan 2014 | Read review
“The cabanas vary in style and floor plan... and they are individually owned, so some are better furnished than others... talk it over with the rental agents before selecting a unit. There are actually two different rental agents... Dan and Holly manage some of the units and Lynne and Ron others... and there are two different web pages... plus you will find some listed on VRBO and those typically also are rolled over to one of the two folks I mentioned... this can be confusing to first timers.”
