We stayed for a week with our 2 teenagers and loved the location and Sandy Bay, the breakfast, the pool and the people running the place. It was all we could have hoped for and one of our best trips ever. Tomi was a great host and we tried to go to places where is was playing in the evenings.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 8 nights. This property is absolutely amazing. I will try my best to describe our experience, but my words will definitely not do this place justice. It is a must stay when on Roatan. If you are looking for a luxurious, unique Caribbean getaway, this is the place. We stayed in the Seagrape Bungalow,...

I can't say enough good things about our stay this weekend at the Mayoka. My husband and I travel all over the world, and I can honestly say this was one of our most enjoyable accommodations to date. Our room and grounds were very clean and well kept. Hotel staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks...

I was already excited after reading the reviews and nonetheless Mayoka EXCEEDED my expectations! From the time we arrived and met everyone to lunch, to meeting are favorite bartenders Kim and Demmy, to meeting John and Barbara and being able to listen to the great sounds of Tom on his guitar! Having access to the kayaks and snorkel masks and...

Amazing views in Sandy bay - super easy access to West End and much quieter then West Bay. I got a tour of the rooms that are closer to individual bungalows rather then traditional rooms. The pool overlooks the gorgeous ocean and the bartender Demi pours amazing drinks. Also the friendliest service on the island is from Kim !!

Wonderful boutique hotel, and this is coming from someone who usually stays at high-end chains. John and Barbara are amazing hosts, the staff is outstanding and you have everything you need either on-site or in the immediate vicinity. It's a nice mix of locals (expats) and visitors. I would definitely return.

We had both privacy and beach access. The people who worked here are genuinely nice and go out of their way to be helpful. When I had problems with my snorkel mask one was provided that was so much better than my own that I used it the rest of my visit. The room was immaculate. Loved the shower! Loved...

From the moment you arrive into the country, yes John and Barbara are friends with the greeters at the airport, your welcome with open arms. Mayoka is a boutique hotel and you get treated as such. This is not your large over crowded all inclusive resort, you are literally treated like family here. The rooms are a great size and...

Absolute perfection! John and Barbara are so hospitable and sweet. Mel, Angel, and the rest of the staff are shining stars. The moment you walk through the doors your tension will melt away. The food is amazing as well as the dining experience. If you decide you love this island like we did, and you want to look into purchasing...
