Our entire experience with Mariposa Lodge was incredibly pleasant. From the outset the staff were very accommodating and friendly. When our arrival in Roatan was delayed by a day due to overbooking on our flight our stay was altered with absolutely no hassle and no extra charge. We stayed in an apartment with a ceiling fan which is located on...

We stayed 3 nights at Mariposa Lodge when we first got to the West End. We stayed in the shared 3 bedroom cabin. The kitchen/common area is quite large and the 1.5 bathrooms were always clean and available. The rooms had a lock box and lockable cubby hole/shelving units, which was a major plus. If you're traveling on a budget...

My husband and I stayed here for 5nights after coming across it by chance. As backpackers we arrived without any reservations but had a nightmare of a time trying to find a place with room available! We seen the Mariposa sign so walked up the quiet lane to check it out. We were offered a double room with a shared...

We loved staying at the Mariposa lodge. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet place to stay with a small kitchen and Mariposa was perfect. We had a small apartment to ourselves so we could cook our own breakfasts. We also had a living room and back deck with a hammock - great for reading. Sue and Mike...

The cost was 40 dollars a night Mariposa Lodge was a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, and it was...

We have stayed for 4 nights at Mariposa Lodge where we had a private room with our own bathroom and kitchen for $40 a night. The people running the place are really friendly and always willing to help you. The rooms are cleaned everyday. In terms of location we can highly recommend this place as the watertaxi to West Bay...

This was my second stay at Mariposa Lodge. We had an amazing time and definitely recommend staying here. I was traveling with a group and the owners were very accommodating and flexible for our large numbers. The rooms are spacious and clean and the kitchen has all you need for preparing food in the room. The location is very central...

Warm welcome, staff very helpful, room very clean. It was exactly what I was looking for and despite being in the middle of West End, Mariposa is remarkably peaceful. I have already recommended to friends and am very happy to do so again.

We stayed for a week while diving with West End divers. It was very comfortable for the most part. We chose an apartment with a kitchen as we wanted to cook and save money but they don't have AC. It got very hot at night and the ceiling fan didn't do a lot. We didn't get very good sleep due...

close to the main street therefore close to the action but not too noisy. Heard folks coming home late at night but not the partying. Primary noise preventing sleep where the roosters and hens making a racket outside the open windows. Friendly staff and great massage. The ceiling fans not very strong and difficult to get a cross draft so...
