Some friends advise us to stay at JJ cottage in munnar. The place was full, but the owner had this other cottage, surrounded by tea plantation. Zina cottage offer a perfect view on mountain but its a bit far from the new town. The problem is the managers of this particular place, who are not friendly and most of all,...

This place was value for money in regards to its location. 20-30 minute walk from town or a 70 rupee tuk tuk. We did a soft trek with a guy named Alvin which was really enjoyable and arranged through the cottages. He was very knowledgable and gave us all the information on the area and the plants etc. The cottages...

Hello Everyone, Myself and my friends were here for 15 days and believe me I just fell in love with this place. So quite and tranquil environment, little far from the main town. Its a 10mins walk to the main road to hire an TukTuk and some 30 mins (2km) walk to the main town. It's the only cottage amongst...

The Zina cottage is wonderfully located within the tea plantations with a great view. The owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms and showers are fine. Most importantly: We did a half-day hiking tour with Alvin, a 24-year old local, through the tea plantations and the nearby forest. This was the best decision on our trip so far: Alvin...

I would challenge anyone to find a better located place to stay in Munnar in the same price bracket - somewhere you can look straight out on the tea plantations and walk into the tea from your front door. Location: Run by the same people at JJ Cottages, Zina (or Zena or Zeena) is 2 kilometers from the bus stand...

It gets really cold at night here so you would think an extra blanket would be provided but no ... they let you freeze. The guys who run the place are nice but a bit spacey. We were only able to get breakfast here one day as the other days something or other was broken - so don't plan on...

Stayed at the new section that just opened up. Room was nice and cozy, the management friendly and trying to make an effort to accommodate all the traveler's needs. The location was absolutely perfect! Inside a tea plantation with great views and wonderful walks around, but still only a short distance to the main road. Great place, highly recommended!

3 nights was just about right for us to stay here. The ovation is close to Munnar and even closer to Old Munnar and the Bus stand. Set amidst a tea plantation it is a good 10 minute walk or 5 minute tuktuk ride from the main road, but it is worth it for the views alone. The track up...

Zina is situated in an amazing place in Munnar, probably the best with its great views up on the hills and still within walking distance from Munnar. That's why you would come here. The place in itself isn't great. A bit ran down which is a shame cause renovation would make the place amazing. Our room was spacious and clean...
