We stayed at several homestays during our holiday in Kerala, and the standard of the accommodation was highest at Royal Mist. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with a proper hot shower, all very clean, open out onto a terrace with lovely views over the hills, where meals are taken. Food was good, and nothing was too much trouble - on our...

My husband and I stayed at Royal Mist for 2 nights over the Easter holiday and we loved it. Nothing was too much trouble for Anil and his lovely wife and we were only sorry we couldn't stay longer. Rooms were spotless and had beautiful views. Anil took time to tell us all about the area and arrange whatever trips...

I have recently returned from a fabulous trip to Kerala and had the pleasure to spend four wonderful nights at Royal Mist. We (three of us) had booked for three nights but our stay was so relaxing and we were made feel so welcome by Anil and Jeeva and their children Nithin and Neeha, we decided to stay a fourth...

Previous reviews pretty much say it all – Anil & Jeeva have created a model example of how to run a homestay. Everything was pretty much perfect from arrival to departure. On arrival we were given lots of information about the area and what sort of things were on offer. Later we did the evening stroll around the immediate area...

Anil and Jeeva run a lovely little homestay near Munnar. This is a homestay in the true sense of the word - you are treated as one of the family from the moment you arrive until you leave. There are only three rooms all based on the first floor around a verandah where meals are taken with views over the...

Our stay at Royal Mist, Munnar was a highlight of our stay in India. Anil and Jeeva are wonderful hosts and are so helpful and friendly you feel instantly relaxed when you arrive. Our room and ensuite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious and their advice on where to go and recommendations for walks were very...

If you are into Homestays - or if you are keen to try one out - you probably can't do better than to stay with Anil and Jeeva in their house near Munnar. They are the most charming hosts you could hope to meet and their two children, Nitsin and Neha are delightful. We truly felt like part of the...

We have just returned from 15 wonderful days in Kerala staying in a number of homestays and retreats. Without doubt, our 2 nights at Royal Mist in Munnar offered the best of warmth and hospitality which was all due to owners, Anil and Jeeva and their delightful family. Add a helping of wholesome Keralan food prepared by Jeeva; a spectacular...

Anil and Jeeva welcomed us into their home like old friends. Their house, set amongst the tea plantations, offers wonderful views over the valley. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and very tasty. Jeeva was only too pleased to let us into her kitchen...

Anil, Jeeva, Alfonsa, Nithin and Neha welcomed me to their home as I got off the autorickshaw Anil had pick me up from the bus stop. I immediately knew I was home. A lot of places use the term "b&b," "homestay" or "guesthouse" but are just ordinary hotels. Not Royal Mist! The entire family really made me feel at home,...
