Spend 2 nights, most of 3 days, in Peninsula 'adventure' room. The room with its antique doors and furnishings, but spacious bathroom and verandah, had twin beds and a loft. Set in coffee plantation, it was peaceful, with birds and monkeys and a pony as the main visitors and great for relaxing. Every cottage is different. The trail to the...

A very good experience when it comes to trekking and food - whether buffet or à la carte, you cannot really make a wrong choice. Staff are polite and always available to assist, and the houses are well located (even if their interior feels a bit outdated). Adding a daily cleaning service would increase travelers' comfort even further.

This is truly a nature hotel. There are many small cottages situated throughout the farm. We had the Honeymoon Cottage which was down by the river, which we understand is where the elephants cross. We were there in February and it was freezing at night, so please wrap up if visiting then. The food was great and buffet style, and...

Stayed just one night sadly. We had a block of 3 rooms together in the forest over the river. We checked in and crossed a large field and the river by stepping stones to get to our accommodation. The water was heated by an outside log fired boiler and we had a log burner in our rooms which were lit...

We have been using the services of Dune Pondicherry for the last 10 years, we loved the rooms, the quirky decor and the fabulous service, having a pet makes us come back to this place time and again, thinking we will have the same spectacular experience, we checked into Elephant Valley, and my god what a disaster it turned out...

The hotel is situated in the migratory path of the elephants with a water stream passing through the property. Vinod, the person in charge of the place was very friendly and we had many good conversations along with giving us information about the elephants, organic farming and coffee plantation. At the restaurant you can actually choose a dish and, they...

Hotel is in the middle of the forest and it was a pleasant beauty in the valley. Rooms looks like old, but bathrooms were clean. No room service or TV or any Coffee maker in rooms. Trekking will be very good in the mountains. Grown up kids will enjoy, but difficult to manage with small kids.Limited mobile networks are there...

The Elephant Valley is a place to connect back to nature. If you are looking for modern city or opulent kind of resort feeling, this may not be the place for you, but they do have well equipped rooms. You will be provided with fresh linen and towels but you will not have a tea maker or an iron or...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Elephant valley is the last settlement on the border of the National Forest which extends into wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala. It is uniquely situated on an elephant migration route that is centuries old. This land and the rivers we share with local people blessed with prestigious vegetal and animal species including: native birds, leopards, deer, bison and elephants.
