Can’t fault my stay here. The owner was very pleasant and spoke very good English. All the staff were friendly. Free tea, coffee and fruit provided in the morning which can be obtained from the terrace upstairs. The room was large, spacious and clean. Plenty of plug sockets for charging electrical items. I booked one day here on Hotels.com and booked a further two days cash to the owner. It’s in a great location within walking distance from the market, a 7-Eleven and plenty of nice restaurants.
Great guesthouse but it wasn't perfect, they forgot about our ventilo so they made the room last moment. Anyway it was good and the breakfast was charming. They can get better ! I don't have bad memories of it but could be better !
Down a side street so reasonably quiet. Convenient location to the night markets, food stalls and the old bus station. Room was large and clean. The attached bathroom was clean and the hot water reliable. Free bottled water was provided daily. The covered terrace with free tea and coffee provided was an excellent place to sit and relax. Many of the city attractions were within walking distance to this property.
If you want to be close to the Chiang Rai markets this is a good selection. The host is very nice and offered free fruit, tea and coffee services when we arrived. We were there an hour early for check in and it did take that hour for them to get the room ready. However, the bathroom wasn't cleaned (I could run my hand along the dirt) and the floor was all gritty. (I really wanted to know what they did for an hour) The shower was not hot, you could get it to stay luke warm if you kept the pressure on low, not too low though otherwise the water heater wouldn't even kick in. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The owner gave us extra blankets as he said this room gets extra cold. It was fine. There is also 1kg laundry service for 30 baht around the corner. I would still recommend this place and stay there again. …
