We booked a fan bungalow, as we are not fans of AC, for a 5 nights stay. After traveling and some beach time on our first day, only late in the evening we were horrified to discover that there was no hot water. We payed around 45Euro/night therefore it was totally unexpected not to have hot water for this price.... More

We stayed for 4 nights with our two boys ages 6 and 9, in a beach front bungalow. Location is brilliant and the transfer from the pier was smooth. Our bungalow was quite basic but perfect for our needs and only a few steps to the beach, the food in the restaurant was really good (massaman curry recommended). There was... More

Spent a few nights here hard to find a bad thing to say. Lovely staff and restaurant over looking bamboo beach which is most unspoilt beach in ko lanta. Let's hope it stays that way. Our bungalow overlooked the beach and has perfect shade for the hot afternoons. Hire a scooter from here and enjoy the coastal roads to the... More

We have been recommended this restaurant by a fellow traveler. It is on a deserted Bamboo Bay beach (Mai Pai), so you can easily spend a whole day here. We have had breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast was nice (we had Fresh fruit platter and Banana pancakes), coffee not so much (to be fair, we did not come across decent... More

My girlfriend and myself stayed here in January. The hotel has the best location in Saladan.Run by a lovely lady and her son who will help you with any queries whether its hiring a moped or going on a day trip. I would highly reccomend going for a sea view room with aircon. We started with a back room with a... More

This is by far the best accommodation and restaurant on the beach. Beautiful simple bungalows right on tge beach. Quite location no street noise, no party noise. Very relaxing with own hammocks. Great Thai food. Friendly staff.

My wife and I loved our 2 nights at Baan Phu Lae. It was the perfect ending to our 2 weeks in Ko Lanta! After a horrible stay at another hotel, we walked into Baan Phu Lae, after it was recommended by a friend, and luckily they had a cottage on my the beach available for us. It's beautiful and... Note, review just for the restaurant. We had lunch here during a day on the motor bike cruising around on Koh Lanta. The place is pretty far down the south west coast of the island but easy to find. You pass by here when driving to/from the national park on the south tip of the island. Great experience here. The... More

We spent 3 days here- our room was very nice in a picturesque setting but the whole experience was marred by the couple running the place. The man at the main desk was miserable - never smiled and was unfriendly and the woman was very unapproachable and acted like she was doing you the biggest favour if you ever asked... More
