After spending one horrendous night at Soontreeya bungalows, we booked in here and had a lovely relaxing time. There are issues like not enough sun loungers around pool and none on the beach. They say they are not allowed to use the beach but every other resort hotel along there have them? Our de luxe room was clean and spacious...

I stayed at the Nakara Long Beach Resort a few weeks ago (feb 2013) and was a little worried about what it would be like based on what people had written here on tripadvisor. We stayed in a standard room, which was to the right of the main building looking from the beach. The room had been "refurbished", but the...

After spending a rather horrendous 2 nights as lantawadee we needed a shining light, and the nakara was it! The friendly staff here are lovely and speak excellent English as well as being incredibly knowledgable. We originally checked in for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4. Looking back we should have stayed longer as koh lanta was the...

The first room they gave us was dark and really smelled bad. We had traveled by boat all day and were very tired, so decided not to complain about it. We did try to get our room switched because they gave us (a couple) 2 twin beds (??), but we were informed that this was the last room in our...

This hotell has a great venue. If you pay a little more for your bungalow you will get it right on the beach. Nice and quit hotel with good staff. A good and clean poolarea! The restaurant has good food at a small cost. With good price comes a few bugs! :)

Koh Lanta is a very wonderful spot to relax and rejuvinate your batteries. The Nakara Long Beach Resort is a hotel that is charging 3 to 4 star prices for a resort that is on at best a 2 star. The first cabin we were given had broken floor boards, the white paint work was so filthy it was impossible...

We were drooped into staying at this hotel by a local travel agent without reading about it first, our mistake. Please don't make the same one. We paid the us equivalent of $159/ night ( incredibly pricy by Thai standards ) for what would be the same as a resort version of a crap cheapo nasty hotel in the states....

We had a really pleasent time in Koh Lanta, which was majorly due to the superhelpful and considerate staff. The room's weren't super flash, but comfortable enough and rather spacious. The turtle and swan towel displays were very cute on arrival. Its in quite a good location too, 10 or so minutes walk to the major area of the beach and...

We booked this hotel 5 months in advance for NY holidays. We didn't pay any deposit and it was good as we weren't 100% sure about our holidays. Although we arrived in the morning we could get into our room by 11 am which was essential for us after overnight flight.Hotel consists on number of bungalows everyone with its own...
