Lovely small 8 room hotel set high above the sea. Exceptional views from both room and restaurant. Most comfortable bed. Great staff but be prepared for some miming to makeup for their lack of English. Cook does an excellent breakfast. For a 3 star hotel has an excellent restaurant, if a bit pricey.

Perfect view, spectacular food and the staff was absolutely amazing. I rarely write reviews. But this place deserves a good one. Cliff Lanta does thai food in a classy way that fits perfectly with the view. The massaman is especially amazing. Not a bad seat in the restaurant. The staff are all smiles and are so absolutely sweet. Make you feel very welcome and at home in paradise. PLUS, the rooms have a bath on the balcony overlooking the cliff that is arguably the best sunset view on the island. You do have to go down a few steps to get to the beach. But so easy and close. 1 minute walk down. Plus the beach is quite empty compared to other beaches and just as beautiful. The beds are quite soft...which, if you travel in thailand much, you know is sometimes rare. Great stay and/or restaurant.…

Thanks to Chliff Lanta for the warm welcoming. Chliff Lanta has impressed me in so many ways. The romantic atmosphere with fabulous scenery. Also friendly staff and great service. Too, the delicious food, clean and fresh air. Giving massive thanks to my special one for making this worth while trip happen. For making the trip so special and completely one to remember. I definitely enjoyed my stay a lot and will be back for sure again in the soon coming future. For anyone that is looking for a perfect holiday destination or even for normal day, I highly recommend Cliff Lanta. Nice and cozy small hotel with 4rooms. Located on the cliff facing West side, so every room's balcony could get exquisite sight of sunset. Hotel's own restaurant serves very tasty Thai and some Italian pasta & pizza.

nice spot at thee southern end of the island. the rooms are nice the views are excellent. maintenance of the rooms could be better. wifi was good, breakfast was good you order from a menu. staff were great.

I came here with my friend to grab something to eat for lunch. We were received with great hospitality and served a wonderful lunch.We sat upstairs where the view is outstanding. Great view, WIFI, Smoothies and more !!!

First off, the pictures don't do it justice. This place is unbelievably beautiful. Watching sunsets from our balcony here was like a dream. And, if that's not enough, you are steps away from the beach. Frank and his entire staff took incredible care of us. Breakfast was fantastic. Pina Coladas were great. We rented a scooter from them. They did our laundry. All of our needs were met with a smile. After the hustle of Bangkok, we came to Koh Lanta to relax and this was the absolute perfect place for that!

Had a fabulous 4 night stay at this property. Staff so wonderful, and the setting is just amazing. Enjoyed our coffee on our balcony every morning enjoying the quiet and beautiful view. Location at south end of island is so peaceful and quiet, yet plenty of restaurants close by. Would highly recommend!

My partner arranged for a surprise dinner at The Cliff at sunset and it was such a romantic setting. The staff/owner went above and beyond to make this a very special birthday for me. Food and cocktails were AMAZING, the view of sunset was like none other and the staff were some of the best! Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you so much!
