The hotel is located on the non-rocky part of Klong Nin beach. The pool is nice and overlooks the beach. As of now, the hotel has adequate sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach chairs for all. We never had a problem finding somewhere to sit in the five days we were there. Lunch and dinner were very tasty. My Thai friend...

Anda Lay hotel is an old hotel placed very close to a noicey Road, which defenetly has a negative effekt on your sleep. The hotel has about 20 rooms, and only 12 sunbeds, and 8 sunchairs, so at 7.00 AM there Were no place to get. At the secondat Day of our stay, I had an unplesant diskussion with the...

The Andalay Boutique Resort offers good quality beach-side accommodation, a tranquil atmosphere, excellent staff, nice food and represents very good value for money. It has a lot of great features marred by only a couple of negatives. First, the positives. During our 2-week stay (room 107), all the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Every single one of them...

Great view from the room - and hotel placed right on the beach which is very nice. This is by the way the best part of there beach as other parts are very rocky, but not this part at all. Main complaint is that there are not enough sunbeds compared to the number of guests, which is really not good...

Having been to AndaLay four times now, we obviously like it very much. Klong Nin is probably the best beach on Lanta in terms of great sand, nice water, and being developed enough to offer various food and entertainment. The rooms are spacious, especially 113-116, which have a nice lawn in front, and unobstructed views of the beach and ocean,...

Andalay is a lovely resort on a great beach. My partner and stayed for four days, 2 in the suite resort room for 2 days and the sunset sea room for 2 days. The suite room is really lovely but needs a bit of tlc. The sunset sea room was better value and felt newer. The pool is very nice...

Really pleased to have found this resort! The staff on reception were charming and helpful. Well designed beach bungalows with French windows providing fabulous views of the sea and access to the pool.

Starting from the very nice and friendly receptionist, we had a very nice stay here for two nights! Beautiful place and boutique resort. We highly recommend it! The only "bad" thing is that the hotel is directly on the street, so then maybe a little bit loud because of the cars. But anyway, it was amazing! We'll come back for...

Andalay is a lovely boutique hotel. Positioned right on beach with lovely beachfront infinity pool. We had a beachfront room which was lovely, you can hear the waves crashing and see the beach from your bed. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Andalay has a restaurant and bar and there are bars and restaurants within walking distance. This is the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A Buddhist hotel in a mainly Muslim area. Very attentive staff, stylish rooms, and a good restaurant which in the evening extended onto the sand, lit by oil lamps. The hotel is not yet quite finished (no large pool - only a large hole) so rates are half what they will be when completed. ... more   less
