The last time we stayed here was 2013. In 10 years things change, and I’d read quite a few reviews saying many resorts and hotels were a bit run down after Covid. I need not have worried! BKS is even better than before! Well maintained and managed, the place is still an outstanding destination. The manager is hands-on and it shows. She goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect! We have stayed here three times over the years: as a couple, with my mum and this time with our 7 yo son. Pretty sure we will be back!

Dear Trudi, So lovely to see that you have been back again. As you wrote, much have changed during the covid years, but as elsewhere - some has also changed to the better. I’m very happy that you were satisfied with how BKTS is still operates. Especially thanks for the nice review about Thoy (our on-site manager), she’s a real jewel and truly deserves your nice words. It’s correct that we don’t have a restaurant, but we have agreements with nearby restaurants and deliver food to the villas on request. I don’t know if you tried this service. Hotel's Favourite
The staff is wonderful, the location is perfect and the views are amazing. The accommodations from the set up of the villa to the outdoor shower was wonderful. I would highly recommend. Day excursions were easily set up for us, as well as a motorbike. If you are familiar with the area, you can do this on your own, but if not, everything is taking care of. We chose to do snorkeling and cooking school trips and we were not disappointed. Do not hesitate to book a stay here.

A great place to relax … very peaceful and quiet with exceptional staff ! Great salt water pool ..bedroom has air con but because the windows and doors open with fans never had the need to use the air much … can’t wait to return

Sparkling clean villas with beautiful views. Enough to easily accommodate 4 adults (for 2 bedrooms), or a splurge for a couple. You will not find a better place in Ko Lanta. There is a lovely pool which I used frequently. You feel like the place is your private haven. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could have stayed here for months. The hospitality is wonderful and the receptionist even gave me a ride downtown one day when she saw me walking. You can order food in or cook for yourself. Everything was faultless. One thing to keep in mind- it is a steep climb up to the property so if you aren’t fit or have an injury, renting a car or high power scooter would be a good idea.

This was our fourt visit to this marvelous resort and we will come back. We love Thailand, the people, the street restaurants and the authentic spicy thai food. Resort is located on the hillside right on top of the small beautiful village, Baan Kantiang. The resort it selves is at the very highest level. Good location, very nice swimmingpool and pool area, fantastic houses with all what you can ask for. The beautiful house we booked had everything you need, good air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, large furnished terrace and lovely large bedrooms with great sea views. The service is also top notch, and we were, as usual, very well cared for. The staff were very helpful. They were also very helpful with everything we needed for transportation, scooter, shipping to airport etc.…

Lovely place. The manager and all the staff were absolutely delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. Although we were there at a busy time, it felt quiet and secluded and perfect for relaxing. Watching the sunset, the monkeys playing below the balcony. Gorgeous! The only reason I’m giving 4 rather than 5 is that I didn’t like having our children in a bedroom that was not directly accessible from the house. I like to be able to hear them if they need anything (to get into their room you had to go outside and back in again so you can’t just leave their door ajar and listen out) One of them was unwell one night and I only found out the next morning that she’d needed me but had been scared of going outdoors to come into the main house to get me. This set-up would be lovely and private for two couples sharing, though. It’s beautifully clean and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful little additions.…

We usually offer all families a “baby call” for easy communication with children in the other room. I’m sorry this was forgotten offering to you. Another good advice is to keep a light on at the terrace. The terrace is actually a part of the villa and when lit at night it will not feel scary to cross. I could not recommend this place enough, an absolute GEM in Ko Lanta with the most amazing views, beautiful accommodation and unbelievably helpful staff. Especially Thoy, who went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay, as well as arranging transportation for us to the next part of our trip to Khao Sok. One more thing to add was the massive jug of water in our villa to refill our water bottles rather than having to buy more and more single use plastic. Brilliant idea and much appreciated :) We can’t wait to come back for longer!

Every time we come Thoy goes above and beyond to make our stay that much more magical. The villas are beautiful. The staff are super friendly. And anything we need they are more than happy to accommodate for us. This is our 4th stay here. And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Great resort with home environment and very welcoming officer . The rooms and living room and Bathroom are great and The balcony with ocean views is impressive. One thing that need to fix is the road that lead from Main Street to the resort ays bumpy and have many big holes so we must drive carefully.
