We spent two night here and loved it. The room was spotlessly clean with good air con. Breakfast was served to you on your own terrace, or you could take it into your room if you preferred. The rooms are set in a pretty garden and are only several steps from a long soft sand beach and the sea. Plenty of restaurants nearby and atm and 7/11 and Tesco lotus a few minutes walk. The manager was very helpful with any queries and booked our return ferry for us.

The Baan Pakgasri Hideaway hotel is quirky to say the least. I think you need to remember it is a 3 star hotel. We stayed in the beach front bungelow. The air conditioning was cold but it was either on or off. The mattress was incredibly hard. The bathroom is such a terrible layout, the floor is always wet and the water just doesn't drain away. The hot water is like the air-conditioning either on and scalding hot or off. The room doesn't have anywhere to sit other than the bed and there is no table Our unit comes with 2 chairs on our private bit of beach in front of our bungalow but there are no chairs for other guests. In saying all that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The location is better than any other hotel. it is THE reason to stay here. There are food and bars all around and it is absolute beach front. It's not a big resort just a few rooms so it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. If you want a 5 star hotel this is not it. If you want a cheap, smaller, quiet place, in the middle of all the action, right on the beach, this is it

The building itself and the location were unquestionably good. Everything else was a catastrophe. Breakfast was included but not offered by the personnel. We had to ask for it and the quality was everything but good. The bathroom was dirty all over and probably did not see cleaning utensils in ages. A whirlpool with plenty of bacteria is included for those who feel like testing the limits of their vaccinations. Electricity outage just happened during the day without any communication. Poor and unfriendly service. The pictures don’t hold what they promise.

This place was a little paradise, straight in front of the huge beach, nice little rooms (the sea front are bigger and with jacuzzi, big windows right in front of the beach). It’s possible to use the free swimming pool of the hotel 300mt next to it, which it’s awesome if traveling with babies. Lots of nice restaurants around, the staff is great and trips or diving can be booked at the front desk, included boat and taxi for transfer to Phuket. Breakfast served straight on your little balcony.

We stayed here for four nights in December and it was amazing! The accommodation was really well kept. The rooms were modern and spacious. Everyday you would get fresh water and beds changed. Breakfast was included which was brought to out balcony every morning. There was a vast choice and the food was good quality. It wasn’t advertised when we booked it but you can use the pool at the hotel up the road for free if you stay here. We went two days in a row because it was perfect. The pool is set on the beach and has a restaurant with great food. The location was also fab. You can watch the sunrise/sunset outside your window every day and every room has a sea or partial sea view. Klong Nin beach is very chilled back and quiet. The hotel is situated great for the few bars and restaurants around. Most have a nightly fire show and BBQ. The only negatives I would say are firstly that when we stayed there was some work going on next door. It was very loud and sometimes went on till 2am so we would struggle to sleep. Also there was supposed to be a TV in our room but there was a space on the wall where it was missing. (This would have been useful to drown out some of the work noise) Both of these weren’t a massive issue for us but the only things I would pick out. I would definitely stay again if we were visiting Koh Lanta for a chilled out break. I would recommend to anyone who is considering booking!

80€ a night is overpriced even for Portugal were I live. We stayed in beachfront bungalow. ( the view from the bathroom with jacuzzi is nice but you cant open the windows and they are dark because of outside refletion wich make it feel its night). The guy at the lobby is an asshhole. Nice rooms but nothing special, nice beach. Average breakfast. You can sleep for a lot less money. Won't come back. DOnt rreccomend.

Hotel situated directly on the beach, we chose a sea front room which was lovely and clean with an amazing jacuzzi bath. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good and served to your balcony. The setting makes this hotel great. The rooms are on the basic side. The bed is rock hard and woke most mornings a bit achy but that soon wore off!! The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel but the closest restaurant to grab food or drink is about 20 metres away and the closest shop being about a 5 minute walk away.

Baan Pakgasri Hideaway is very close to the sea, which was awesome. Our rooms were clean and well maintained. The rented scooters were in a very good condition. The beach where this accommodation is located is very quiet, good for families.

We spent six nights here and used it as a base whilst we exploded the island. The room was clean and we didn't find the beds too hard but you can hear everything and as most of the units all face each we were kept awake one night with other visitors chatting. Breakfast was good and the girls serving were lovely. It's not the isolated location / hideaway that you may think it is and there are quite a few bars and restaurants nearby. It could do with providing a few beach chairs and shades for the beach.
