I stayed in a beach villa for Christmas with my friend .. Yes the villa was close to the beach and yes the room was lovely , apart from the smell of sewage from the toilet and sink .. The partner restaurant "Lyms" is the...More
The location on Long Beach (Phrae Ae) is ideal - close enough to Saladan town in the north, the old town on the east coast and the national park in the south. Bang on the beach and a 15 minute walk to May's Kitchen -...More
We traveled to Koh Lanta in mid/late November 2015 and stayed at Long Beach Chalet. We loved the location of the resort (central long beach) as we had a lot of options for restaurants and for lounging on the beach. The resort is also located...More
We were there in Oct though the weather was cloudy and smoky, but we still love Koh Lanta and this chalet is so lovely. Staff is helpful, nice room with all equipped, good wifi, air-con, fridge etc, only the bathroom is outside your room which...More
We just booked one night there, unfortunately we could stay longer because they had all booked. The most important features are definitely the staff and the beach restaurant. One lady (we thought it was the owner) constantly came to check if everything is ok. People...More

You can arrange transfer on the ferry. There’s a guy walking around asking where you’re staying and if you need a ride, then tells you the price and leads you to the vehicle upon arrival hassle free. We always took this option. I don’t remember the price to Long Beach Chalet (200 baht/person?) but you can always try negotiating. Also prepare 10 baht/person for cleaning fee after ariving to Saladan Pier, it’s mandatory

Hi there. The beachfront villas are only a fee steps from the beach, there’s a patch of grass between and I believe there are some trees right at the edge of the beach. I don’t really know which are the ones with the spa, but I do believe they are the ones in the front row. You will be able to enjoy beautiful sunsets from the villa regardless of the trees and if they should bother you, take a few steps and watch it from the beach.
