Koh Lanta island has a wonderful 1970's hippie vibe still - & a beautiful shallow bay.

About 12-14 loungers along beach side grass strip, parasols don't ring a bell at beach side, can't remember seeing them. No loungers or parasols directly on beach, could be due to low season. Two pools, one near reception (construction work ongoing near this pool so we didn't use it). The other pool at beach side, very nice, includes a small kids pool and bubble pool. Loungers and parasols available at this beach side pool. Safe to walk around outside resort, only issue would be traffic on very narrow road back up to Main Street. Head torch useful for this road at night.
