I've booked a hotel in Koh Lanta at Lanta Sand resort and spa from 27th of march until 3rd of april. Even though my booking was nonrefundable I got a full refund. I will recommend both Agoda and Lanta Sand Resort and Spa and I will definitely visit your hotel egen IT is possible. Keep Up the food service 😊
What a place beautiful views and some staff are outstanding like Su in restaurant who are so nice and helpful. But as for reception well that’s another thing. Where made to wait two hours for a room change when they were not full. Breakfast for a 4star hotel is the worst I have ever had over priced and the only thing I could eat where and omelet and that gets boring every day.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our quick 2 night visit in one of the Garden Villas. The resort itself has beautiful grounds and provides all of the amenities necessary for a relaxing getaway. The beach the resort sits on is absolutely pristine and is the main attraction here in my opinion. The sunsets were incredible and an amazing way to spend the early evenings. The prices on food and amenities were fair and we never felt stressed or priced out of anything. If we needed any additional odds and ends, there are plenty of shops within a 10-15 min walk. We both did massages + facials at the spa and had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing experience. The massage was the perfect amount of pressure and the facial was very thorough and relaxing. Pros: Beach access, on-site amenities, price point, location Cons: No shuttle service, rooms were a bit dated …
Stayed 6 nights in this beautiful resort in a paradise location. The resort is located towards the north end of long beach which made it so easy to spend evenings in Sala Dan and lazy days strolling along the beautiful sandy beach. The neighbouring restaurants are all so chilled, cheap and serve great food. We enjoyed lunch many times in our resort restaurant on the beach for only 100bt - which is £2.50 for stir fried chicken and rice, pad Thai etc. And cocktails at happy hour (1200-1400 or 1700-1900) were fine - a little weak. It for 119bt or £2.55 not bad really. The sunset from the hotel was stunning so we spent every evening enjoying that at happy hour! The room are fine and clean and the beds really comfortable. We had a pool room by the beach and worth paying the extra for as many poor reviews seem to be about the rooms near the reception area on the floors where there seems to be lots of bugs. The sound insulation is very, very poor though so take ear plugs. The only negative is the smell of the drains which is foul and the showers are pathetic. And I mean absolutely pathetic!…
Ending up at this hotel was a happy accident. We wanted to stay somewhere nicer before island hopping and Lanta Sand came with recommendations. We were expecting to be amazed, and our expectations were met, surpassed and taken on a vacation of their own. From the welcome on everything worked well. The staff was friendly and service was good and without any extra hassle. What really sealed the deal for us was the combination of location and amenities. The hotel and grounds are well taken care of and I couldn't find anything wanting. This place has everything I want from a hotel and then some. Stay here.
