A lovely hotel just located 1/2 mile out of a small town which you can reach by Tut Tut at 100 Baht each way ( they have a lovely food night market and indoor one.) The hotel is very well organised right on the beach with a number of beach bars actually on the beach selling cheap food and drinks . Alcohol has gone up by 30% from our last visit to Thailand, but its still cheap compared to the UK. The breakfasts are excellent with a wide choice and well maintained grounds and bedrooms. I would certainly return

Room, private pool villa ok. Unfortunately we had a second bed in it when only needed one which meant was cramped. Quite difficult getting around our bed even when 2nd one was pushed to the window which meant curtains on main window permanently closed, no bed side tables to put things on and reading lights for main bed in wrong position. Without this was fine, clean and private. These rooms are furthest from beach and restaurant but that suited us. Not much storage space but went er packed!! Bath towels grey/stained and really need replacing. Never enough towels when going to pool so remember to take your own from the room if you have a pool room. Or bag your towel by 8am and lounger by 9am! Food really disappointing - don’t bother with half or full board! Not the quality or price you get off resort. Ok got snack or lunch and not expensive if spending £. Lots of beach bars nearby just short walk up beach and 3 good restaurants near by. 2 just by road entrance and one a 5 min walk up the road to next beach along. Staff lovely. No bar as such, Barracuda’s bar is part of restaurant and people just come to eat. No atmosphere. Better places up the beach. Generally the resort feels a bit tired, grounds need some tlc small repairs needed around public areas in particular and better food. Gym is well equipped but again a couple of machines seen better days but functional and air conditioned. Didn’t use spa- went to small massage place up road £8 for one hour full body massage vs £40 in resort and was excellent Wouldn’t say avoid but whilst has facilities (pool, gym, spa etc) of 4 star wouldn’t say it was quite there on the food, bar or decor and grounds front. Just expect good 3 star so check out rate when booking - we went with a package so not sure how compared with other hotels we are staying in this trip

A really nice adults only hotel. We had stayed at other hotels before here during our stay which weren’t adults only, so this was so much more peaceful! We stayed in a private pool deluxe room but we were a bit disappointed by this to be honest. The one they advertise on their website is definitely bigger than the one we had. The pool is a plunge pool which is weeny and we only went in it a couple of times during our 12 night stay due to a few reasons being, too cold, debris falling in every night/insects in it every morning and no net provided to clear it with, and a lot of chlorine. Husband dunked his head under once which stung his eyes way too much, so that was the end of that! The toilet, shower, bath and vanity area are all outside as well which was fine unless you had an upset tummy and you could hear your neighbours chatting next door. This was a bit embarrassing at times! Wouldn’t stop us from returning, we just wouldn’t book this room again as it also felt right out of the back of beyond from the main hotel. Not a deal breaker as we’d definitely love to return one day. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the chap on the egg station was the happiest we’d come across at all the hotels we’d stayed at! Most mornings all the loungers had been taken around the pool and beach. I’m not on holiday to get up at the crack of dawn to nab a sun lounger. I refuse point blank to play that game! After our usual stroll along the beach and returning to no free sun loungers, I asked the nice man that seemed to be in charge in the breakfast room if there were anymore loungers, and he kindly arranged for two to be brought from a villa to us on a buggy, which the driver placed on the beach for us. Great service! He did mention that he’d had to remove some towels earlier as no one had sat down after reserving some loungers so I think they do police it a little (the reservation of loungers) but a couple we met whilst there witnessed another couple move from beach loungers to pool loungers therefore having 4 between them! Maybe more policing is needed here?! The happy security guys at the front of the hotel deserve a mention as they were always so friendly when we passed them and this made our stay so much nicer. Unfortunately though, there was a lady with glasses (I’m not going to name and shame) who took our order at the Barracuda bar a couple of times, who made it feel like we were a hindrance to her day. To the point where we almost just left because it made us feel uncomfortable, sadly! Also, sometimes during happy hour, the service here was really slow. We thought they’d forgotten our order once as it took so long! You see the owner around a lot and can see by the way he observes everything that he cares a lot about this hotel. He should be proud because you can see a lot of thought goes into it. Keep up the good work, as we’d love to return one day. Just to one of the villas closer to the beach!

Excellent choice of hotel! Me and my husband and two friends spent 12 nights att this amazing place. It was me and my husbands first trip to Thailand. And it will be more visitations if possible. MR Bigs and his crew made us feel like royalties and I had to pinch me serveral Times to believe that it was True! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Breakfast had everything, we didn't miss anything! The cleaning of the room was satisfying and neat. Unfortantely my husband got rash at his legs and hands, and showed them to the crew at the hotel. They fixed transport to dr Pads clinic and transport back to the hotel. We felt so taken cared of. We got problems with our aircondition two times so we got another room. We've got a feeling that MR Big had big plans for this hotel! It was a pleasure to see the preparations for Valentine at the beach! We are looking forward to come back soon! Best regards to you!

Stayed here for a week and loved it. We had a sea front villa which was amazing. Listening to the waves morning and night is therapeutic. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good with great choice. Restaurant on the beach is good for lunch or dinner and reasonable prices. 3 pools and vast beach area. Walk to towards and turn left to find lots of bars and restaurants. Saladan area is a short tuk tuk ride away. If in KL again we'll stay here again.

Fabulous hotel in Lanta very close to Saladan and right on the beach. This was our second visit and really enjoyed our stay. There are plenty of restaurants on the beach to choose from. Tuk Tuk into Saladan costs 100 bhat with plenty of bars and restaurants there as well. The Hotel has a lovely beach front and you can take lovely long walks. Our room was very comfortable, staff all very nice, breakfast adequate. The only minus is that sun loungers around the pool go quickly so you have to up early if you want one and the WIFI can be a bit patchy and slow at times. However if you are prepared to put up with this I can truly say we had a really relaxing time here.

Just loved this hotel. I had lovely ground floor room , so big for one person. Staff were so helpful and friendly, breakfast was great in a lovely open air space. My only complaint would be that the people staying there put towels on the sun beds very early in the morning , this was annoying as you felt you needed to get up early just to get a sunbed Not experienced this in Thailand before, I often just lay on the beach. The hotel itself is clean, well cared for areas, just really enjoyed my stay there.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it twice. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. We stayed in a villa - more like a bungalow - right on the beach. It's not as large as the hotel advertises, but it was still wonderful. As many have mentioned, the bungalows have aged a bit, yet everything is very well-maintained and clean. The bathroom is spotless, the bed is fantastic, the air conditioning works excellently, and the direct view of the sea is a dream. We felt completely comfortable. A big thank you to the wonderful cleaning staff. Regarding the facility: the grounds are beautifully maintained and stunning, the pool is small but located right on the beach, offering a great view of the sea. However, we didn't use it due to our bungalow's amazing location. The happy hour at the pool bar is highly recommended. And for those looking to dine out nearby, 'Chef Chalong' restaurant is just around the corner - it's top-notch, world-class.

An absolutely first-class experience, this was the highlight of our honeymoon in Thailand. The staff are all friendly and helpful; from arriving at the tuk-tuk drop-off spot, the staff took us and our luggage to the lobby and then to our room. We had immediate responses whenever we called the front desk, and they were able to handle booking excursions on our behalf. Our room was spectacular. We chose to stay at a villa with a private pool and we loved it so much that we never even used the main pools at the resort! We had sun loungers and an outdoor bath and vanity, which were all screened from view. The air conditioning in our room was very efficient, and within 5 minutes of turning it on we would have a lovely cool room. The breakfast was sensational, with an abundance of fruit, Asian dishes, European and American pastries and an egg station for freshly made eggs, as well as bacon and sausages. We stayed at 5 hotels while in Thailand, and this one had the best food by a mile. We also attended the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner, where a huge feast was prepared and entertainment including Thai classical dancing, fairground style games and a raffle was put on by the hotel. This was incredible, and the countdown to New Year on the beach was great fun! The resort is a fairly short walk from Saladan Market, where there is a lot of street food and market stalls to take in. We saw many people on motorbikes, which we had seen was the easiest way to get around (there is no Grab on Koh Lanta) but it is possible to get tuk tuks and taxis without much trouble. I would like to thank all the staff at Twin Lotus who made our stay so memorable. We cannot wait to return!
