V-view is super clean and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The whole place is peaceful but it's only a couple of min walk from the main road where there are lots of places for eating and drinking. We went to the full moon party during our stay, getting a taxi was really easy from the main road, they go up and back all night long. We ate in the restaurant which has really tasty food and is reasonably priced!
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was very accommodating. Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night, with great sunset views. Motorbikes were affordable. The owner even drove us to the dock at the end of our stay. Great experience!
We stayed for 5 nights even if we didn't plan it. We searched a lot in Phangan but the level offered by v view was outstanding so we decided to spend all our nights there. Atmosphere, food, prices, location, pool, the hammocks, services , the kindness of the owner and the staff were perfect. Actually, in many reviews I saw some complains about the beach. In my opinion the effects of the High tides is very evocative. I recommend this Place if the goal Is the relax.
We were there for the full moon party and after reading reviews, I decided on this resort. I should note that it is pretty far from where the party takes place (about 20ish mins drive) but we were okay with that. This resort include individual huts which are spacious and they each have a hammock in the balcony area, really cool. Upon arrival, we immediately upgraded to an ac room, I don’t think we could survive w just the fan. I am very glad we upgraded because it was hot!!I had no issues w rodents in my room, it was very clean and I noticed that the door had a barrier in the bottom to keep things from crawling in. Upon arrival, we immediately upgraded to an ac room, I don’t think we could survive w just the fan. I am very glad we upgraded because it was hot!! The staff is super nice and the food is great!! The resort is right on the beach so you will be walking in sand. They even have a staff member that rakes the sand for leaves that may have fallen the night before. They also have hammocks and swings close to the beach which makes for cool pics. Now for the negative, the reason I am only giving this resort four stars... the beach!! It was a disappointment, you can not swim as there are so many rocks there and it is painful to traverse without water shoes. I was so sad, being that it is a beach resort. Finally, the WIFI was spotty at times which made it difficult because I had to work remotely. That can be fixed by going to the open lobby/restaurant area where there is better service.…
We had such a lovely stay, in a fan bungalow, it was super hot when we were there but we were comfortable. The bungalow was immaculate and clean, with pillows that weren’t as thin as paper .we also got some laundry done there which was a extra cost but well worth it. The pool area is lovely, with adequate sun loungers and shade, the resort is right on the beach. Make sure you have some food from the restaurant as it was one of the best pad thais i’ve had whilst in thailand.
