I booked 2 rooms on Saturday night 3 days before we left on the slower ferry from Phuket Rassada pier £10 each return. The rooms were nearly £70 each but there is a distinct difference in 4/5 star and 3 star on this island price wise. I opted for this 3 star as the higher ratings were too expensive or in the North of the Island. This hotel is slap bang in the middle and it’s perfect for going straight out into the narrow streets to mooch around. It’s was quiet in the evening , you get a free welcome drink and our room had air con and yes the beds are hard but I like it with a bad back. I fixed a light that was hanging down from the ceiling as I am a sparky , the water in the sink takes it time to drain but is fine. Rooms were clean , Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast buffet was lovely with no complaints about the food. The 2nd room the air con wasn’t working but they fixed it whilst we were out. The next morning we went on a boat trip to Maya beach 2000 baht booked and paid at hotel , guy came and picked us up to escort us to his long tail boat. Overall considering I booked it very late for £67 a room it was good. If you book further in advance it’s cheaper. The pool isn’t that big but it’s fine , use the beaches instead. Only 6 sun loungers but use the beaches that is the whole point in going to Phi Phi. They looked after our bags after we checked out to go on the trip , the lady behind the desk was so friendly. My tip if you have a problem is not to overreact , I was travelling with 2 Thais and they showed me this , be nice ti the Thai staff as they will be nice back to you. I would recommend staying at this hotel for 1/2/3 nights as the location is so perfect in the middle of the island. 5 minutes from pier. Beaches are just as close to walk to. Restaurants and bars are right outside the hotel 1 minute away. We had a really good time and were treated well , they send a person to greet you at the pier and to walk you to the hotel. Just look for the sign with the hotel name on it and a person holding it. Thanks PP Palmtree it was a pleasant stay.…
Great location but rooms very tired and rock solid bed. Charged 300BHT for a lost room card that I found a few hours later but they would not refund my money! Buffet breakfast ok but a bit basic Phi Phi is lovely tho and well worth a visit, just not here
The hotel is right in the centre of the island and is close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The room was ohk. For some reason the bed was super firm. I liked it but my partner didn't. There was easy access to the pool from where we stayed. The hotel staff were very accommodating to us as our ferry was the last one off the island and they allowed us to leave our bags with them and use the pool while we waited for the 3pm departure.
We have been touring round the islands we stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights. The hotel itself was ok for a couple of days , but no longer. The pool was very nice , but the rooms are quite outdated, and the shower especially. We had a room that you just walked into the pool from your balcony. The breakfast was average, but what put us off staying again was how unfriendly and abrupt the staff were. The only mbers of staff we found friendly were the porters come security guards.
Location is nice if you want to be near the action and restaurants. There is a pool which is nice but there are only 8 sunbeds and not that many sunny hours. Rooms are in three levels and no elevator. Rooms were dated but fairly clean. We staid for two nights and happily not more sense the beds and pillows were hard as rocks. The other thing that i was disappointed in was the breakfast... some selection but for example the omelet station had no covers to the food and flies were flying in them, the service was bad at breakfast too. So if you want a cheap stay in the center its ok but take without breakfast and enjoy it in some nearby cafes!
The hotel is lovely, very pretty with a nice swimming pool and the bar. The room was very clean and we had a balcony facing to the swimming pool and the beach. Breakfast was really good, with lot of options. The staff has been welcoming and very nice. Even if the island is not too big, the hotel location was perfect and it was easy to go around just walking. Thank you for the amazing stay!
Horrible customer service, very rude security guards. My friend came over to call me to go out and they kicked her out in the rudest way possible. So, you have a lot of trouble to interact with other people...if you are single, it is terrible because they do a scene and embarrass you in front of whoever you bring to your hotel. The rooms are small, you don’t want to stay here...
This was the worst hotel we have been in our trip. The security guards and the receptionists were extremely rude to us. A friend went with us to our room only to pick up his glasses and was yelled at and mistreated. They are very extreme with their guest-only rule, and should try to treat customers a little bit better.
Nice enclosed hotel complex in centre of bars and restaurants in phi phi. Theres a pool and bar in the pool. Sine rooms have direct access to the pool. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have seen some reviews complaining about cats. There are two cats who sleep and hang around in the reception area. They appear to be pet cats and are not strays.
We stayed here for 3 nights in November. The hotel itself was very nice. We had a room with pool access which was nice to relax and chill. The room was spacious and clean. The staff on reception were ok at times but other times were extremely suspicious of everything and you had to sign towels in and out. Also when you pay for the room if you pay on credit card there is a 3% charge on top of the price of your room. This was not really made clear prior to booking. The location is good once you get to grips with the island. We ended up walking round and round in circles and kept ending up back at the hotel. It is difficult to find the view point even following the signs. We actually ended up walking up the Tsunami route which when we saw the steps we should have taken was actually a god send because we would have never been able to get up there. The bars and beach are around 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Not ideal walking back on a night time as pretty dark and often have to walk down a really dark street to turn onto the right road for the hotel. Probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again. There are a lot of random cats in the reception and restaurant.…
