This nature resort really is something special. The staff are so kind, and the breakast was amazing, what a view! The main strip is a short walk through the jungle and involved a bit of climbing but that was part of the magic for us. Stripped back to it's natural beauty. Great stay, one I will never forget.

We stayed in the grand deluxe double room with air condition. The room was really nice with a really great view. We were only supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4. The beach is beautiful and secluded. It is a fair walk into town and would definitely only recommend if you’re comfortable with walking up and down lots of stairs. The lads in the restaurant are polite and friendly and there’s one older man who’s usually wearing black who’s a really lovely gentleman (didn’t get his name but he was a always smiling, polite and helpful) however the ladies on the front desk were rude asked one morning for a hot latte and they just said no with no explanation and kept telling me I could use the printer and then wouldn’t let me? I do think it’s a language barrier problem and I understand English isn’t their native language however they still came across quite rude. Probably would give the hotel a 4/5 if it wasn’t so loud, the staff were shouting till 4am one morning, then construction work started around 8am, the long tails go all night which weren’t a massive problem but amongst everything else it doesn’t help they do provide you with earplugs. One morning the maids were cleaning the room above us and it sounded like they were throwing chairs across the room it was unbelievably loud and lasted for an hour+. Like I say we did book 2 extra nights and we did enjoy our stay but the hotel could do with some love in some areas and the staff to be more aware of being quiet at times. The beach is amazing and it’s worth it for just the beach. Food in the restaurant is reasonably priced, nice and big portions. Breakfast was included the first 2 nights and is okay, didn’t pay for it for the second 2 nights because we would rather find somewhere else, same as every hotel in Thailand (pancakes, toast, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, sausages etc..). Drinks also reasonably priced including the drinks in the fridge in the room, which does help when the local shop is so far away. I would definitely stay again, but perhaps bring my own earplugs or ask to stay on the top room not the bottom. Definitely feel closer to nature lots of fish in the sea so remember your snorkel and mask because we didn’t. Overall most of the reviews were accurate, it can be hard to get around and is a long way to town and it did appear some of the rooms were very small and it seems as if there’s a big difference between the smaller rooms and the bigger rooms so I’d probably suggest paying more because our room was definitely worth it.

We stayed at Viking Natures Resort for 2 nights but I guess it wasn´t enough :) It´s a perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. We were upgraded from standard rooms to superior rooms which was really nice. I recommend to book at least standard rooms, the traditional rooms are a bit far away from the beach and restaurant. The staff was also very nice and helpful, it made our stay even better. I absolutely recommend to stay in this hotel if you are looking for a calm stay in nature.

Nightmare from start to finish if you have any slight walking difficulties don’t bother coming here, where ever you want to go whether it’s town, beach, breakfast or reception it’s like an army assault course, even the fittest could end up injured here the only flat area is the beach, suppose its ok if you young fit and don’t mind roughing it.
