This is a simple place. Nothing more. Its close enough that you can walk to everything easy, but its also far away so its quiet. You can use the pool by the other resort. Only down thing is noisy staff early in the morning with walkie talkies and no housekeeping so you need to buy your own toilet paper. And...

Booked into Gypsy Village 2 on the internet prior to trip , which at time was marketed as better than Gypsy Bungalows. Took ages to find as no signs and staff member at lunch. Dark and poor quality. Right on foot path. No privacy. Asked for change to gypsy bungalows. Had to pay extra to move despite bungalows being much...

Firstly, more a hotel than a hostel. Had a private triple room for a decent price. Room was clean and tidy. Sheets were clean and towels provided. Air con worked very well. Door locked and water provided. Wifi was perfect. The actual room was a little walk from the pool but not a problem. Staff were hard to find near...

I stayed here just 3 nights. I would say its totally overpriced for what you get. My 1st room was infested with ants when I asked for another there were none. When I asked for a refund there were!! When I asked where the wifi modem was they didn't know!! Couldn't pick up wifi on several devices. Upsides are good...

Avoid. Hotel is not of three star quality, and at best a one star. We stayed for three nights as a group of three: the location is very near a sewage center which smelled bad constantly, there was no wifi in the rooms, our room had stained/torn towels and bedsheets, there was a power outage near midnight one night, the...

Enjoyed it here, it's out the way of the party zone, about 10 mins from the pier. Was really quiet on a night, room had good a/c. We paid online for 800baht per night and asked to stay an additional and she asked for 1000 so told her we could do it online for 800 and she didn't seem bothered......

Walking distance from the south beach, which is filled by boats but you can swim there. By staying in this branch of the Gypsy 's emporium, you get access to the swimming pool of the Gypsy Seaview. Room for 700 B and paid extra 100 B for a broken cup. We got a hand carrying the backpacks to the pier...

We ended up staying at Gypsy as the place we wanted to stay, Oasis, was full. We had two concrete/brick bungalows next door to each other with a double bed in each. All in all I think we paid a fair price for the rooms. They were clean and the fan worked, but a bit grubby - marks on walls,...

If you've read other reviews of accommodation in Phi-Phi and compared it to the rest of Thailand then you know that you are going to have to compromise on either price or quality. Accommodation on Phi-Phi is of a lower standard to the rest of Thailand. The room was 500 baht, basic with a fan, the en-suit was okay but...
