❌ Run away from this hotel immediately! ⛔️Don't even think about booking room here! 🤮 Terrible, disgusting, worst hotel in my life! 10 reasons why the night here will be REAL HELL, see below: 🛏️ They gave us another room (two twin beds instead of double room) and only offered to move the two beds together. Of course, it is impossible to sleep with a huge gap between the mattresses. 📵When they moved the beds together, the only one working socket (220v) in the room was under the mattress and we couldn't charge our phones. 👻 The light buttons, which were also under the mattress, were constantly pressed and turned on the light in the middle of the night. This was really scary! 🔥The TV is plugged into socket (220v) that is wrapped with adhesive tape and it is connected not with a plug, but directly with wires (just look at the photos and be horrified!) - this violates safety precautions and can catch fire at any moment !!! 💥The fridge shelf on frodge door was broken but we didn't know and put wine bottle in the fridge. When we opened the fridge - the bottle fell down and broke. Staff didn't even offer us the slightest compensation for it. 🩸Towels and and bed linen with huge dried blood stains! 🦠 The walls are shabby and the paint is peeling off! 💨 The air conditioner only works at the maximum airflow level (see video!). We had to turn it off at night, but after 15 minutes it became very stuffy and had to be turned on again. 💦 The curtains on the windows are horribly stained. It looks like someone wiped something on them (see 2nd video). 🫡 AND MAIN POINT: When we asked the senior manager to call us, I told him about all these problems - he just turned off the microphone and seemed to be minding his own business and did not even listen to me. When I finished, he asked "what do you want me to do?". In the end, he did nothing, just laughed at this story. It was our only hope that they could fix something. But he did nothing. Nothing at all. Yes, by the way.. The breakfast was good.…
Properties in Phi Phi are comparatively more expensive than the main land. This was a good choice, 100 metres from the beach, with a swimming pool, nice buffet breakfast. It's a 5 minute walk to get to the property which is on the other side of the island from the pier. They arranged pick-up and drop for our luggage from the pier. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed for 2 nights and it was relaxing.
We stayed here at the beginning of January. We had upgraded our room and it was overlooking the pool. The rooms were clean & the pool area was gorgeous with a swim up bar! It was a bit loud of evenings due to the beach party behind but overall a lovely experience! I would always recommend to upgrade the room. The basic rooms were horrendous.
Initially, no one from the hotel was at the pier to take our bags to the hotel. On arrival, the woman at reception was fairly pleasant. When we got to our room, we were more than disappointed for the price we paid (baring in mind it’s an extra 3% when paying on card too). We have stayed in 10+ hotels during our stay in Thailand, and this was by far the worst. We have stayed in hostels that are much nicer. To start with the positives; the location is great (they pretty much all are, because Phi Phi is such a small island) and the air con kept the room nice and cold (that’s if you unattached your key from the fob that activates the aircon). It was also useful to have someone carry our bags to the pier on departure. Onto the negatives, of which there are many. The hotel feels very dated, minus the reception area. The aircon unit in the bathroom leaked constantly, meaning that the floor was always wet, had to keep taking the bath mat up because of drain off for the air con unit. There is no lift up to the rooms meaning you need to carry your bags up the stairs if you’re not on the ground floor. We weren’t able to adjust the temperature of the shower, only the flow. The front door doesn’t feel very secure. When shown to our room, we were told that the water and Lays crisps were complimentary. On check out, we were told this was not the case and we had to pay (not expensive - but not the point). The hotel is close to one of the loudest bars on Phi Phi. This wasn’t much of an issue for us as we are heavy sleepers, but any light sleepers should definitely stay away. Overall, we would definitely not recommend this hotel and we regret the amount we paid for it.…
Me & my partner meant to stay over the Christmas at this resort but unfortunately we had to change the accommodation. The hotel is located right behind the loudest bar in the island so you will hear music every single night at least until 3.00 . We were ready for a bit noise but the music / base was that loud it was actually rattling the mirror on the wall. So after 2 sleepless night we had to check out. We have been offered upgrade to Deluxe room but that’s not solving problem as you can hear music from this bar within good 500m area. We have been giving 50% refund from one night . I do feel sorry for owner of this resort because there is nothing they can do about this . Possibly it could be made clear when you booking ,that this is not right place for calm nights. If you came to party this place couldn’t be better . It’s right in the middle of the party live. However this place is a bit overpriced for what you get. The rooms are clean but very dated.…
Stayed for one week at the end of November 2022 and paid just over $100 CAD per night. Was met at the pier by one of their amazing team members who carted our luggage to the hotel front desk to check in and then to our room afterwards. Front desk staff was lovely as well and provided all the necessary information about the hotel. The initial look at the room wasn’t great - floors and fridge didn’t appear the cleanest, LOTS of mold in the bathroom, balcony chairs pretty black with dirt, etc. Safe was tiny (not big enough to fit a small iPad) and didn’t work so had to head back to the front desk to get that sorted as there’s no phone in the room, which they sent someone to fix right away. “Garden View” was not what we were expecting. Highly recommend booking a poolside unit or anything else if you book here. The SUPER bassy and loud music from the nearby hotel is a bit obnoxious as it plays until about 2am everyday… Would definitely suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Next door units closing their big wooden doors, as well as anyone blowing their nose/coughing/vomiting/showering/etc in the next door bathroom(s) is also super loud. The bed and sleeping was definitely the worst part of the entire experience. We sleep on an extra firm mattress at home and it had NOTHING on the bed in our room. It was so hard that we ended up sleeping on top of the sheets and blanket they provided in hopes of making it a tiny bit softer. After a few nights, I began getting sick throughout the nights but felt much better as soon as we were out of the room the following morning for the day. I’m guessing it was due to the old, dirty air conditioner blowing throughout the night but it could have been the old mattress/pillows/linens or the massive amount of mold in the bathroom, or all of the above. The breakfast was included with our booking which was a nice bonus and it seemed like there was something for everyone. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, bread, fruit, veggies, pad Thai, fried rice, bacon, ham, pancakes, French toast and an egg station. Breakfast team was always really great too. My fiancé and I had two drinks each at the pool on our first day. When we went to pay, we were told the bill was more as the prices on the menu we were given to order from were old. Not a huge deal and we paid it but still somewhat annoying. One side of the pool has nice, new, comfy whicker lounge chairs. The other side has old, dirty, white plastic ones. Checkout was a breeze and the items we took from the minibar were accurate on the bill. Our luggage was again carted by their team to the pier for us. All in all, we personally wouldn’t stay here again. Not sure how the poolside rooms are but anything would have been better than our room I’m sure.…
Good value hotel, really lovely staff, we stayed in a 2nd floor pool view room and it was great! So spacious and nice bathroom & balcony. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, bread, egg station, pancakes and hot food! The daily room clean took til later in the day, and one day it didn’t even get done. Pool was immaculate and a nice size, with loads of sun beds to choose from! Would stay here again when in Phi Phi.
What a fantastic little hotel. Stayed in a villa, very clean. Staff are fantastic with excellent English and exceptional. Reported cold shower at 9.45pm and within 5 mins someone came to fix it. Lovely little restaurant for breakfast, again staff lovely. It’s in a busy part of town but it’s very quiet. Would highly recommend for the price.
Comfortable resort ideally located next to the main beach, calm, nice swimming pool Spacious Room with direct pool access nice (but a bit lack of privacy). Amenities dispensers, hot shower, comfy bed. Breakfast included but nothing special (basic option juice coffee and eggs station)
We enjoyed our stay here. It is a surprisingly large resort. Good pool with sufficient amount of sunbeds. Rooms are clean and we had a clean kettle, tea and coffee plus water provided. The location is very good, close to Ao Dalum beach. We had no noise and slept very well. The star of the show for us was breakfast. Plenty to choose from and we particularly enjoyed the different Thai dishes every day. Thank you Anita resort for an enjoyable experience. 🙏
