Booked through agoda always a risk because in thailand you can always do a reservation with no deposit and check the room first. The agoda price was better. Still not sure why hotels dont have a on site booking rate less than online Check in simple quick. Hotel has people at the pier to take you. Its not far from.the pier 5 min walk. Good central location to all the bars and night life also just 5 min away Room was clean and gòod ac. The 300 section looks on the pool all other areas are garden view. Bed was firm but not too firm. Clean room good ac. Staff helpful. The prices for tours are standard. If you book through the resort they may get you a better price. Breakfast buffet on the water and has a decent selection of food. If you keep your door open you will get misquitos so ignore the reviews that complain. Always ask to check the room first. Would definalty book again. Its nice to walk everywhere. Many good restaurants close by. Some other hotels you need a water taxi to get to and from this was simple

Originally booked 3 nights but actually stayed 5. The hotel is in a great location, just off the beach and a short stroll to the pier and pretty much everything! Our room was comfortable and the balcony was a nice touch for the rainy mornings allowing us to o do so planning in an outdoor setting. The staff were lovely and the breakfast selection was great. Probably the best omelette on my travels and definitely the best streaky bacon, really crispy, the way I like it! The sponge cake was also delicious, so light and moist. I liked the vanilla and coffee, my husband preferred the chocolate. My only minor issue was on checkout when they checked our room a small towel was apparently missing. Not to be funny but not sure why I would want to take a small towel. We sent them away to check as we did not have our room serviced every day and on leaving to catch the boat they said housekeeping had not come back so it's ok. Just not the best last impression especially after such a great stay. Overall good hotel for the price. Would definitely stay again, I might just count the towels everyday! 🤣

The staff was accommodating and for a last minute booking , the day of there was no delay for us getting a room. The facilities were nice , the pool area provided a secluded feel. Good location close to the water , and the breakfast provided was really good. Only complaint was the smell from the bathroom and the drains did not function properly.

Great accommodation on Phi Phi island. So easy to walk to from main pier 180m and easy access to the beaches, party scene and cafes/restaurants. Quiet in the evenings though as far enough away from the main party scene. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great pool and gym and breakfast right on beach. We were a family of 5 (kids20, 18 and 14) in two adjacent rooms and we loved it. Well priced too.

Room Tip: hiring a long boat directly with owner much cheaper than via tour - leave early to get to lagoon,...

A lovely hotel, just 4 mins walk from Tonsai Pier. We chose a garden facing balcony room, with view of the pool too. We were not really bothered by mosquitoes as we always kept the balcony windows as well as net partitions closed. The rooms were extremely silent with no noise from adjacent rooms. The Daikin split AC was also extremely efficient & silent. Breakfast was nice with an old lovely lady making excellent oval omlettes. Other stuff was also very good. We were surrounded by so many eateries that we were spoilt for choice. Would readily stay again.

We made 2 separate bookings because our room was not available for 1st night. We checked out the next day of our 1st room at 7am and went on a half day boat ride, we came back at 1pm and we still had to wait past 1pm before our second room was made available even though we had stayed a previous night. The desk lady argued with us. but what really got me angry is we broke a coffee cup and they charged us a ridiculous amount of 500 baht, which amounts to over 20$ CAD. That cup was worth no more then 2 dollars. Accidents happen, in my country they wouldn't even bother to charge for a broken cup. This is outright abuse. If you book this hotel, don't break a cup or anything else for that matter or they'll take you to the cleaners for it. This is not good service. Otherwise the rooms are nice and so is the premise but they really have to improve service and not make a fuss for a damn cup of coffee. It took them 2 minutes to find out the cup was broken, but had us wait past 1pm for our 2nd room, goes to show where their priorities are. Somewhat disappointed Pierre misha.roscoe@yahoo.ca

I stayed in Banyan Villa twice over Jul and Aug 21 - one stay of 1N and a second stay of 3N. The key selling point for me was the gym - really great as hotel gyms go and highly likely the best gym on the island. Maybe the only gym of its size. The opening hours were a little constrained - 1200 to 1900, but this is due to the dearth of visitors to the island, and the staff kindly kept it open a bit longer when I turned up late before I realised it shut early. The hotel is a little on the dated side but the rooms were well furnished and comfortable. I did notice some mosquito bites in the morning when I woke up on a couple of occasions, but I think that is inherent in the location. The staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was basic but generous. The price was good for what you get - c. £20 per night including breakfast. 4 points overall. I'd certainly return if I was in PP.

Located close to all the action, the pier, travel kiosks, restaurants, clothes shops etc. During my pandemic affected visit many bars and restaurants were closed. Mon. to Fri. only private boat trips available. Reception staff friendly and cheerful. I decided to stay in a Garden Wing room after reading the Banyan Wing rooms and walkways are timber flooring. The Garden Wing is at the rear of property so you have to walk through the Banyan Wing. Quiet time is guaranteed. My room (ground floor) was large and modern looking. Quiet aircon worked well, comfortable bed with clean linen, wardrobe with hanging space, no shelving for clothes but I used the 2 chairs and top of the safe. The TV had many channels but only one dedicated english being Aljarzeera. Seperate shower recess with good hot water and pressure. You know you have hit the big time when your basin has hot water, especially on an island. The large balcony area has table and chairs plus clothes rack. Of course it overlooks beds of plants. Be aware that mozzies are aplenty. I had my room sprayed when I checked in to my room and they hang around the balcony. My first breakfast was selecting from 3 options which I put down to lack of guests but following mornings it was a decent buffet setup. My breakfast enabled me to go through the day until dinner time. The pool was maintained every day hoence the water nice and clear. I take the point from another reviewer re the lack of sunloungers. Must have been fun before the pandemic came along. As a solo traveler my only disappointment was with the TV but overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
