After reading all the poor TA reviews, we were going to cancel our stay at the Beach Resort. We are certainly glad we didn't cancel. We had two superior deluxe rooms for two nights. The panoramic view is absolutely spectacular and breathtaking. The villas have everything you need including a semi outdoor shower that also has a great view. As...

This was our first experience staying on in Phi Phi and the location of this hotel is perfect! We were on a relaxation holiday and that is all we dead. The 'Lets Sea View' bar was our home every night for happy hour watching the waves and the world go by. The walk into town takes 20-30 mins and isn't...

We recently stayed 3 days in two deluxe sea view bungalows, two adults in one and two children in the other. After reading many reviews on this hotel I booked with some hesitation, with the location being the main deciding factor in the end. The resort is great for people who are primarily concerned with location and want reasonable access...

We spent some few nights in this hotel some month ago, it was a really pleasant and quiet place to relax. It's not near the village but longtails are available easily and anytime. You can also find some restaurants near the hotel and a nice diving center within the hotel. The hotel beach is nicer (many colourful fishes) than the...

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves. The location was the biggest plus point for us, the views were spectacular you can see Phi Phi Ley straight from your balcony and the huge limestone cliffs of Ton Sai Bay make it feel a lot like the paradise island that Phi Phi is. The day we arrived was quite...

Lovely quiet retreat. staff were nice, although they were all very young (20's) Hotel is right on the beach. Food was OK, bar was well stocked. No other bars nearby. This Hotel is not on a hill, its on a mountain. The staff will shuttle you from your room to the restaurant, and back until 11pm but always hold their...

Arrived at The Beach by tail boat. Stayed here for 5 nights. Was greeted and helped with luggage, reception were very helpful. Booked deluxe sea view, WHAT A VIEW! Room / Hut on a Hill :0) was clean, lovely and authentic! One thing, be careful what room you book, not good if don't like climbing lots of steps, although, there...

I'm quite surprised at all the very negative reviews The Beach Resort has been receiving. Yes, the resort is not at all convenient to get to (have to generally find a longtail boat or walk it to town, neither of which are particularly difficult) and yes, you have to walk up a hill to get to your room, but the...

This was the last leg of our annual family vacation. Let me start by saying the views are incredible. However, the negative aspects of this place completely outweigh postcard-worthy views. To begin, the first level looks like a construction site. Exposed wires, scaffolding overhead; not an issue *except* one needs to walk through/under it when coming down from our rooms....

We are currently staying at this 'resort', only to be disappointed at every turn. The only reason that we haven't checked out is because the long boat taxi 'not running' according to the unfriendly and arrogant, lazy staff. The '30 minute beach walk' to town is not a gentle stroll along serene sandy beaches filled with swimmers and sun bakers....
